Description
{"ops":[{"insert":"As the son of Oko, Kellan seems like someone who would love to get into some mischief and break some things, and he even has a detective costume to wear for that occasion! Kellan, Inquisitive Prodigy lets you destroy an artifact whenever he attacks, so the first main trick of the deck is finding ways to turn other things into artifacts. Liquimetal Coating, Liquimetal Torque, Thran Forge, and a few other cards give you repeatable ways to \"artifactify\" whatever is the scariest thing on the board so Kellan can destroy it when he attacks, so finding one of those is crucial to the deck's gameplan. Trinket Mage, Tribute Mage, and Trophy Mage all help find those cards, plus a few other tutors add some redundancy to make sure you can give Kellan a steady stream of artifacts to smash each turn. Just in case those cards are hiding a bit too well in the deck, there are also a number of artifacts that Kellan wouldn't mind smashing on his own side for some value, such as Ichor Wellspring, Chromatic Star, and Cryogen Relic. Indestrucible artifacts like Nutrient Block or Darksteel Citadel also make for nice targets to get some card advantage too.\n\nKellan is backed up by a few other friends who share his love of breaking artifacts turn after turn, including Kogla, the Titan Ape, Trygon Predator, and Caustic Wasps, so the party can continue even if Kellan gets removed a few too many times. Kogla also has a second trick bouncing either Eternal Witness or Timeless Witness for a value loop of recursion to get back any other cards from the graveyard. Since the deck often relies on creatures being able to attack, there are a few ways to make sure that those creature can either avoid taking damage from enemy blockers or bypass those blockers entirely. All of these pieces work together to pull off the ultimate trick of giving a Green/Blue deck more reliable and repeatable removal than anyone would expect!\n"}]}
