Swinging a 5/4 at the creature/artifact focused deck then if they block will punish them with a cruel trick is very effective. \n\nThe rest of the \"Trick or Treaters\" are incremental advantages that represent real choice in whether to block them or not. \nYou can swing creatures that disrupt spell strategies at the Creature player or the Creature strategy disruptors at the spell player. \nThe teamwork fools them into letting you stay around for longer.\nOr if you want \"Treats\" you can swing at the players that are most affected by those strategies.\n\nThe Clones also provide a wide variety of versatility in copying your creatures or your opponents' creatures. It's a big body for 4 mana, but more importantly this deck is Tempo shaped in EDH. Tempo really excels in the 2v1 (and especially the 1v1). In 3v1 it's primary goal is to be unassuming enough it doesn't get taken out immediately. This is a blue creature deck after all. You don't have Green's explosive one-shot turns. Giving an opponent an extra turn to kill off one or two of your other opponents for you can flip the switch to checkmate. Of course you still need to mass bounce or control your opponent's board state after that meaning you still have to play the card with some forethought. \n2) "},{"insert":{"card-link":"Portal Mage"}},{"insert":" 's redirection is very effective. It can protect you from a lethal swing. Also it plays into the the points mentioned above. If a player is equally swinging at the table to bring Life Totals down you can redirect a creature to the person with the lowest life. Potentially taking them out and creating the circumstances this deck is best at. Of course keep in mind the social contract (Pod availability) if playing with randoms. Have no mercy if playing with friends. \n\nNotes on Secondary Enablers:\n"},{"insert":{"card-link":"Alora, Merry Thief"}},{"insert":" is in here because everyone needs a mischievous mother that gets you your candy, but still helps you cause problems. \n"},{"insert":{"card-link":"Long River Lurker"}},{"insert":" does a similar thing to Alora, but has the added fun of making your opponents choose if they want to allow you to repeat the effect by blocking it's swing with Grazilaxx out.
