I played it for years and am absolutely hypnotized by the art of original Lorwyn/Shadowmoor block by artists such as Omar Rayyan. After the 60 card deck sat in my box for years as I entered adulthood and casual play was replaced with Commander, I eventually decided to take it apart and find a home for these cards in an EDH deck. I recently decided to split these themes apart so that they could really shine on their own and more closely resemble the respective mono white and mono green decks I had as a kid. This is the new Treefolk deck.\n\nIn deciding how to build a dedicated Treefolk deck, I wanted to find a commander that was more interesting and non-linear than simply playing a popular, straightforward Treefolk as commander. Possible commanders I explored included [[Doran, Beseiged by Time]], [[Fangorn, Tree Shepherd]], [[Quickbeam, Upstart Ent]], [[Verdeloth the Ancient, and [[Old Man Willow]]. Of these, I was most interested in [[Old Man Willow]] as a combo -1/-1/Treefolk deck (recently took apart my -1/-1 deck). But ultimately I landed on [[Autumn Willow, Harmony]].
