Her activation discards the current hand, replaces it, and can immediately return one discarded artifact or creature at each of those three mana values. A good activation therefore generates substantial board advantage rather than merely filtering cards.\nEarly turns should establish mana with Sol Ring, Fellwar Stone, the Diamonds, Mind Stone, Liquimetal Torque and Worn Powerstone while developing Land Tax, Scroll Rack or cheap artifacts. Goblin Welder and Goblin Engineer establish the graveyard engine; Engineer can place a key artifact directly into the graveyard and later exchange disposable artifacts for it.\nAnger, Fervor and Swiftfoot Boots are particularly valuable because Kayla normally cannot activate immediately after entering. Once she is active, Puppet Strings and Staff of Domination can untap her for additional activations during the same main phase. Do not blindly activate Kayla with Enduring Renewal, Goblin Bombardment or another irreplaceable noncreature spell in hand: she cannot return those herself. Monk Idealist and Argivian Find exist specifically to recover discarded enchantments and artifacts.\nThe primary finish is Enduring Renewal plus Goblin Bombardment and Ornithopter, Shield Sphere or Phyrexian Walker. Sacrifice the zero-cost creature, return it to hand with Renewal, recast it for zero and repeat for unlimited damage. Cathodion performs a similar loop because its death produces the three mana necessary to recast itself; Goblin Bombardment converts this into damage and Altar of Dementia into unlimited milling. Ashnod's Altar with a zero-cost creature instead produces unlimited mana and casts, allowing Aetherflux Reservoir to finish the table.\nKiki-Jiki provides an independent win with either Restoration Angel or Zealous Conscripts. Goblin Matron and Goblin Recruiter help locate Kiki-Jiki and the artifact Goblins, giving the deck genuine redundancy rather than forcing every game through Kayla.\n"}]}
