Description
{"ops":[{"insert":"Shredded\n\nSuper Shredder grows whenever another permanent leaves the battlefield. That includes opponents' permanents, tokens, sacrificed Treasures, bounced cards, and exiled cards. The deck therefore turns ordinary resource use into counters while also supplying its own renewable permanents. It is not necessary to destroy my entire board merely to make the commander large.\n\nThe opener needs acceleration and either card flow or something expendable that replenishes itself. Sol Ring, Mind Stone, Crypt Ghast, and the other mana pieces get the expensive engines online. Jadar, Ophiomancer, Bitterbloom Bearer, Nine-Lives Familiar, and Reassembling Skeleton create repeated departures without requiring a fresh card each time. Pitiless Plunderer turns creature deaths into Treasures, whose later sacrifice grows Shredder again.\n\nSkullclamp, Deadly Dispute, Corrupted Conviction, Black Market Connections, Braids, and the larger draw engines keep those departures productive. Braids can pressure several opponents, but they can choose whether to sacrifice an appropriate permanent. Viscera Seer, Yahenni, Spawning Pit, and the other outlets let me choose when my own permanents leave. I keep an outlet available when exile or theft is approaching.\n\nThe Ozolith preserves counters when Shredder or another creature leaves, and Retribution of the Ancients converts spare counters into removal. These are different uses of the same accumulated resource. I do not empty Shredder's counters to kill a minor creature when those counters represent the next lethal attack.\n\nBrotherhood Regalia, Silver Shroud Costume, and the evasion package give the large commander a way through. Commander's Plate, Greaves, and the protection pieces reduce the chance of losing the entire attack to one answer. Shredder has menace already, but two disposable blockers are not much of a defense against commander damage once genuine access is available.\n\nGray Merchant, Kokusho, The Meathook Massacre, and the larger death payoffs give me ways to finish without combat. Phyrexian Reclamation, Unearth, the prepared recovery spell, and the recurring creatures support rebuilding. Saw in Half can create useful entry or death sequences, but the resulting copies have the specified reduced base power and toughness; it is not simply two full-sized copies.\n\nThe deck is strongest when a sacrifice draws cards, makes mana, removes something, and grows Shredder in the same sequence. Its weakness is spending all those resources to create one giant target. I keep a refill or recovery route available and attack before the table finds a clean answer.\n\n"}]}
