Description
{"ops":[{"insert":"Hey everyone~! 🤠🏜️🌱\nYuma has a very simple approach to protecting the desert.\nIf somebody digs it up, the desert gets legs.\nEvery Desert card that reaches my graveyard while Yuma is around produces a 4/2 Plant Warrior with reach. I can sacrifice it, discard it, cycle it, or mill it. The method matters much less than the fact that the ground has now stood up and looks deeply unhappy.\nDune Chanter makes the situation considerably worse by declaring that all my lands are Deserts, including the ones in my hand and library.\nThe Forest is a Desert.\nThe fetchland is a Desert.\nThe graveyard is apparently a greenhouse.\nWhat I love here is that the land keeps doing useful work. Life from the Loam brings it back to hand, Ramunap Excavator lets me replay it, and Aftermath Analyst or Splendid Reclamation can return an entire buried landscape at once. Hazezon welcomes the returning Deserts with Sand Warriors while Yuma’s Plants wait patiently for something else to be dug up.\nKirri gives the Plants another two power because four apparently wasn’t enough. Garruk’s Uprising turns their arrival into cards and gives them trample. Greater Good lets me sacrifice a Plant, draw a handful of cards, and discard more Deserts.\nThe gardening instructions have become circular.\nCataclysmic Prospecting clears troublesome creatures and leaves tapped Treasure behind. Vengeful Regrowth restores land and brings additional Plants. Cactus Preserve can become an enormous Plant itself, because even the scenery would like a turn at combat.\nThen Rumbleweed arrives.\nThe Plants get larger.\nThe whole field gains trample.\nBitter Reunion supplies haste, and suddenly the opponents discover that the distant dust cloud was the front lawn coming to collect them.\nThe graveyard is important, and I do need to protect the growing season from anyone trying to exile it. Fortunately, the deck has plenty of ways to rebuild and several different creatures willing to turn returning land into another army.\nPlease stay on the marked trail.\nEverything beside it has four power and reach. 🏜️🌱\n"}]}
