{"ops":[{"insert":"Do you enjoy winning by sacrificing creatures and comboing off? Do you enjoy going fast? If you said yes to either of those, this deck might be for you. With a powerful effect in the command zone (attached to a pretty solid body might I add) and the fastest colors in the game, this deck should be a solid contender in any pod!\n\nYour main goal in this deck revolves around finding ways to get good value out of token generators and/or recurring creatures and free sac outlets. Your bread and butter creature card is of course Gravecrawler, as Tresserhorn being a zombie means you’ll always be able to recur it, so long as he is on the battlefield. Mixing gravecrawler and any other free sac outlet allows you to use it as a 1 mana cantrip until you can gradually accumulate more pieces and ideally have access to much more of your deck than your opponents on average. \n\nYour starting hand should ideally have some sort of early ramp and either extra draw effects OR lots of creatures/token makers for an early Tresserhorn. If you keep a hand with rhystic study and no creatures, you’re probably in a fine spot even if you’re not gonna be able to do Tresserhorn shenanigans quite yet. A hand with bitter bloom bearer could be equally worth it assuming you have the early mana to get Tresserhorn out on turn 3, for example. \n\nThere are a couple different directions you can lean into with the deck. One being the generic grixis value package included in the list with Thassas Oracle, Underworld Breach, Brain Freeze, and Lotus Petal//Lions Eye Diamond(not included in list). Using Breach to loop Brain Freeze and Lotus petal you can either use the storm count to Brain Freeze yourself out and win with Thassas Oracle, or straight up Brain freeze your opponents and end turn so they lose at their draw steps. All of this is fairly well protected, as you should also be able to cast any interaction you mill into your graveyard, best example being either Deflecting Swat or Fierce Guardianship since they would only cost the 3 exiled cards each time.\n\nThe other major direction is the aristocrats strategy. With gravecrawler, Warren soultrader/phyrexian altar, and Sephiroth/Goblin Bombardment/Mayhem Devil allows you to infinitely drain out the table. The process goes like; sacrifice your gravecrawler for 1 mana/1 treasure, your life Drainer will do 1 damage, use the 1 mana/treasure to recast gravecrawler from the graveyard, rinse and repeat until each opponent is dead. If at any time this combo seems like it will make you deck yourself out (for example, your opponent has gained a lot of life) just sacrifice Tresserhorn away. As long as you have Warren Soultrader itself out, gravecrawler can always come back (there are a few other zombie creatures that can also work if youre using Phyrexian Altar for your sac. This specific win line does not need any of the same cards together necessarily. You can accomplish the same thing with Goblin Bombardment+Pitiless Plunderer+Gravecrawler, or Disassembling Skeleton+Warren+Pitiless+Sephiroth, or Locust God+Tresserhorn+Altar+ Bombardment(if opponents have lost a lot of life). The specific way you win should change depending on the pieces you’re most readily given.\n\nI hope if you’re looking at this that my deck is somewhat intriguing to you and that maybe it inspires you to try it, or at least if you hate it, maybe it’ll give you a reason to build your own version that you think doesn’t suck lol. Also, I’ve never made one of these before, so I apologize if it also wasn’t the most clear/thorough plan. Anyways, thanks for reading :)\n\n\nSide Note: Maybe-Board is comprised of cards considered for the deck but were cut generally for not being efficient enough (except the rituals, as those are only not great for this deck due to lack of red pips, mana rocks will almost always be better for this build). If you wanted to reduce the bracket level of the deck to 3, you could exchange however many of the game changers for a card in the Maybe-Board and it would generally add more synergies and/or removal.\n"}]}
