Choose your preferred layout. You can mix and match options using the View as & Group by drop-downs above.

{"ops":[{"insert":"\nElda, Conjurer of Spectacle\nBracket 2\n\n\nAs a long-time aficionado of multi-player Magic, the Best feeling in the world is when you realize someone else's deck is turbo-charging your own. Crusade, Bad Moon, Elvish Champion and the like affect ALL players, not just the stuff you control.\n\n\nTaken to its logical extreme, is having two sliver decks (playing the earliest sliver cards) at the table. Their Muscle Sliver pumps your Sinew Sliver, and vice versa! Beatdowns (or sometimes Wraths) ensue. But if you can't conspire to fix the decks your opponents are playing, giving them slivers of their own is the next best thing, right?\n\n\nEnter Elda. Demonstrate a slive from Tempest or Time Spiral, and the copy you give to your opponent will also affect your slivers. They get one sliver, you get two, and all three buff each other. Three Muscle Slivers give each other +3/+3. Three Might Slivers provide +6/+6!\n\nThe slivers offering non-numeric buffs are even more interesting. Flanking (from Sidewinder Sliver), “old lifelink” (from Essence Sliver), and Absorb (from Lymph Sliver) all trigger separately, again tripling up. Three Virulent Slivers make every sliver that connects add 3 poison counters! Fynn, the Fangbearer could never.\n\nWhen you demonstrate Ward Sliver, your opponent's copy (and thus, their color choice) happens first, allowing you to get Protection from three colors! This will likely be enough protection to be unblockable, short of any colorless creatures.\n\nHarmonic Sliver is extra gross. Again, your opponent's choice happens first. Then your copy resolves, destroying two more permanents, and then your original spell resolves and takes out three more. Then any subsequent slivers all break three per sliver. (It's non-optional, which is why this deck only has very few artifacts or enchantments). Aura Shards is a game changer for a reason!\n\nSlivers printed in M14 or later do not buff ALL slivears, instead just granting extra power, toughness,and abilities to Slivers you control. Many are still great if you have one of them, let alone an extra if you demonstrate. You will want to be a bit more judicious with demonstrating these ones. Providing trample, double strike, and deathtouch to only slivers you control can help ensure your slivers are outperforming any that are demonstrated to opponents.\n\nA silly line of play happens when you demonstrate Constricting Sliver. After the opponent's copy resolves, you can use your copy to Exile their token they just made, then the nnontoken original resolves and exiles two more things. \n\n\nA little bit about other card choices:\n\n\nAll of the Populate cards: Demonstrated copies become tokens. Populate duplicates tokens. More slivers! It's a circus of value!\n\nRamp creatures: Demonstrate as you want, but you can limit the damage by demonstrating Kor Cartographer or Wood Elves to the player without Plains or Forests, respectively. \n\nHeroic Intervention and Rootborn Defenses: Your opponents will try to break your things. Don't make it easy for them. \n\nKindred Summons: Choose “Sliver.” It'll sort itself out. \n\nCraterhoof Behemoth: Any idiot with enough damage can win a game. Dont you want to be that idiot?\n\n (Of note, demonstrating it makes you come out ahead, unlike with Moonshaker Calvary which is why it is absent). \n\nTriumph of the Hordes: Same as Craterhoof's table killing potential with a significant board, but it might also kill a single person from a far less advantageous position if Virulent Sliver do enough Virulent Sliver things.\n\nMirri, Weatherlight Duelist: Double duty here. Offensively, she helps our token swarm avoid blockers; defensively, she limits the number of creatures your foes can attack back . All star.\n\nChord of Calling: The sliver you need, right when you need it. (Or Mirri or Craterhoof or Regal Force). Tokens even help pay for it! What's not to love?\n\nLeveler: Mutually assured destruction never hurt anyone (except you and whichevr unlucky opponent gets this demonstrated). You could include Sundial of the Infinite to keep your library intact after their copy resolves and exiles their library. Or just embrace the chaos and pull someone down with you. It's not always about winning, it's about sending a message. \n\nTo sum it all up: Demonstrate some Slivers, conscript your opponents, triple up on some abilities, and if nothing else, make a spectacle!\n\n\nThanks for reading, and happy hunting!\n\n \n"}]}
