Description
{"ops":[{"insert":"The nephilim are some of my favorite creatures ever, the art is truly amazing and four color cards are weirdly fascinating to me. On seeing Nephilim Epochal I immediately decided to make a nephilim list though one of the key aspects of this deck is that it's not just a tribal deck but it's also somewhat themed around the nephilim: thus my only creatures are the original nephilim creatures and there aren't any changelings. The deck leans towards a spell slinger strategy due to the lack of creatures and the crazy shenanigans Ink Treader Nephilim causes. I didn't want Ink Treader to be the only star of the show so I made sure to include cards that support the other four, like knowledge is power, and maskwood nexus to turn my sand tokens into nephilims. Despite not having changeling cards I feel it's fair to make tokens into nephilims. The deck also runs a fair deal of cards that change the colors of my opponents' creatures to make them monocolored so they can't block my nephilims when Epochal is out. The final aspect of this deck is that I feel like the new commanders from this \"set\" are so deeply tied to magic lore and history it wouldn't feel right to use any cards from Universes Beyond, so to celebrate magic lore and history I am only including cards from actual in-universe sets.\n"}]}
