{"ops":[{"insert":"High synergy and value.\nRelatively budget.\nBracket 2 (with one combo).\nCategorized (click by Group by > Categories).\n\nThis is my current, paper version with some pet cards, so it's not optimal. There are a few obvious upgrades that could be made that I just don't have (e.g [[Monastery Mentor]]) and I am also consciously trying to keep the Bracket 2 label. As well as other generically good commander cards not seen here (e.g [[Deflecting Swat]]).\n\nI avoided some sets like Dr. Who, Avengers, and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, because I don't like the aesthetics of them, but there are good options in those sets, too (See [[HULK SMASH!]], and [[Go Ninja Go]]).\n\n\n\n\n\nTips:\n\n-I generally will wait until I have 4 or 5 mana to play Feather with protection. It costs 3 white sources (2 for feather, 1 for the protection), which is why I over index on Plains. If you don't have the protection, or are tight on lands, you may just need to run it out on turn 3 and cross your fingers.\n\n-Instant speed 1 mana cantrips can be played on each players' turn to draw 4 cards for 4 mana, while Feather is out. This is the reason that I play these cantrips that have a minimal or even negative effect ([[Niveous Wisps]]) over the sorcery speed cantrips that have stronger effects ([[Impolite Entrance]]).\n\n-You will often want to target your own creatures with burn effects to get them to return to your hand, like the X spells, [[Impact Resonance]], [[Grapeshot]], [[Intimidation Bolt]], etc.\n\n-There is a single 2 card combo win by playing [[Arcbond]]and [[Gideon's Sacrifice]] on the same creature. Arcbond damages each player (including yourself), which will redirect to that creature due to Gideon's, then the redirected damage to the creature will then propagate back to you via Arcbond, etc., so that even 1 point of initial damage dealt to the creature becomes infinite damage to all creatures and enemy players. You can even search up both pieces with Sunforger (you may need to search one at a time, with Feather out so that it returns to your hand).\n\nThis combo may increase the bracket designation of this deck and, if you'd like, you can cut Gideon's Sacrifice. This combo wasn't even intentionally added and I don't personally ever go for it - I just like Gideon's Sacrifice and Arcbond as stand alone cards. Gideon's Sacrifice is particularly interesting with token makers ([[Young Pyromancer]] or [[Informed Inkwright]]), allowing you to prevent all combat damage dealt to you every turn for 1 mana.\n\n"}]}

Whenever you cast an instant or sorcery spell that targets a creature you control, exile that card instead of putting it into your graveyard as it resolves. If you do, return it to your hand at the beginning of the next end step.

For each player, exile up to one target nonland permanent that player controls. For each permanent exiled this way, its controller cloaks the top card of their library. (To cloak a card, put it onto the battlefield face down as a 2/2 creature with ward . Turn it face up any time for its mana cost if it's a creature card.)
