Exploiting the \"Legend Rule\"\n\nThis deck focuses on creating clones or copies of Jugan to exploit his death trigger to make our other creatures exponentially large. I've been a cEDH player for a long time now, and my mind went immediately to another mono green deck that cares for clones, Lumra Bellow of the Woods (Cocaine Bear). \n\nSo I've broken the list up into certain categories, such as Clones and Bad Combos, which are the forefront of this deck's game plan. \n\n"},{"attributes":{"underline":true,"bold":true},"insert":"Clones -"},{"insert":" So this category focuses on creating clones of Jugan for incremental value, such as Springheart Nantuko or Mirage Mirror. Springheart is the most straightforward plan: enchant Jugan and then ramp into land drops to activate the Nantuko to create copies of Jugan, which then die to the \"Legend Rule\" and buff our original Jugan and/or other creatures. Blade of Selves is another great inclusion for this, as the myriad copies would die before combat damage is assigned. \n\n"},{"attributes":{"underline":true,"bold":true},"insert":"Bad Combos -"},{"insert":" Now the \"Bad Combos\" are labeled as such for two reasons. The first is that these are not true combos, nor do they go infinite. If you have a way to turn Jugen into a land (i.e. Ashaya or Song of the Dryads) and copy that Jugan land with either Vesuva or Thespian's Stage (preferably Vesuva because it ETB as a copy) then you can continue to sacrifice the copy land to the legend rule and abuse Jugan's death trigger. \n\nNow this needs cards that A. Allow us to play lands from the graveyard and B. Play multiple lands a turn. Having both of these will allow us to play Vesuva multiple times in a turn to keep copying Jugan over and over again to continuously buff our creatures to ridiculously huge sizes.\n\nNow this deck does have a Plan C, which is getting a Mirror Box to stick. If we can do that, we'll simply create an army of Jugans to rule the skies.\n\nI hope this primer helped you understand my intentions and direction for the deck.
