Interestingly, the pack itself can function as a +1/+1 counter-themed pack (which is a nice complement to the low-stat creatures), so you may find satisfying play even if you’re unlucky enough to miss out on drawing cards from the partner pack. Just be aware: Toolbox plays fairly slowly because the spells and abilities lean expensive, and there are no instant-speed surprises to be had.\nThe cards in this pack have quite a bit of text on average, so, while they are simple mechanically, they may be a bit overwhelming, especially for younger players. Ultimately, I chose the basic tag for this one.\nToolbox is designed to pair well with practically any other pack, but your results may vary.
