Description
{"ops":[{"insert":"Dandan has proven to be a hit for my playgroup and taken a main spot in my game night case. I'd like to think it also strongly influenced our group adoption of a casual \"jank league\" 60 card environment. This format captures such a \"board-gamey\" feel. I love some of the arts I've picked for my list to add a bit of meta textual flavor. I have tweaked the list I copied from the Professor's video on TCC, removing two of the removal spells and replacing them with the new Flashback from Secrets of Strixhaven. At times, I felt that the games with the original list would stall out with the inability to keep a Dandan on the board to untap with. I've since played a few rounds with my partner and friends and the games feel much snappier to me. The added flexibility it adds to dig through the deck off turn, or be removal and counter-magic in a pinch for a one mana tax is impressive. I also felt that the subtle inclusion of red mana sources to a \"mono blue\" format was never quite taken advantage of by the 2 copies of mystic retrieval.\n\nI love playing dandan with my friendfriends <3\n"}]}
