Sun spider is a great fit as an aetherspark general, because it also has built in evasion on your turn. And since the atherspark needs to connect to tick up the loyalty, its perfect. So, we are probably getting aetherspark with the commander. How can we build around the aetherspark? First of all, a lot of proliferate. Proliferate is SUCH a strong mechanic if you can utilize it to its full potential. The aethersparks ult isnt gameending in it self, BUT it can lead to super explosive turns and a lot of value. Since we are playing a lot of proliferation, the deck takes advantage of having other card with counters on the we can proliferate. First of all, theres a cute little superfriends subtheme. Flickering your commander is a bit of a non-bo since you then have to spend a turn to attach the aetherspark again, but you also tutor up another card. \nWhen you play a secret commander, like the aetherspark, there is always a problem of how to get it back if it gets removed. I think we play around 10 planeswalker, which is a pretty good amount i think. Because if you land a planeswalker while having enough setup, it can easily take over the game. Because of this, I think "},{"insert":{"card-link":"Silent Arbiter"}},{"insert":" might one of the best cards in the deck. We ever only really need to attack with one creature. We arent always going to be having Walkers on the battlefield 2. Theres not a whole lot of \"creature\" and \"defensive\" board prescense going on, and we will be putting a target on ourselves. \nThere's a lot of really good blue (around) two-mana drops that draws cards in some way, but also puts counters on themselves. The new "},{"insert":{"card-link":"Wan Shi Tong, Librarian"}},{"insert":" , "},{"insert":{"card-link":"Pollywog Prodigy"}},{"insert":" , "},{"insert":{"card-link":"Ledger Shredder"}},{"insert":" for example. These cards provide a ton of draw power in themselves, and because we play a lot of proliferation they can turn into real threats really quick. There is also notable lands in the manabase that we can proliferate onto. These card serve many purposes. Ghostly flicker can for example be protection for both the aetherspark. And we dont really need our commander after the tutor, other than it being a good body for the aetherspark. You can always cast it again from the command zone for an overpriced tutor. Flickering your commander is a bit of a non-bo since you then have to spend a turn to attach the aetherspark again, but you also tutor up another card. \nWhen you play a secret commander, like the aetherspark, there is always a problem of how to get it back if it gets removed. And for that, its not really a problem. Because we are monocolor, we can play more super great utlility lands. Yes, they are expensive mono color Staples, but they all really boost the powerlevel, and i like playing fun and powerful cards. \n\nNow to the fun part: How do we win? I included a couple ways i think the deck can win. The first one is in my opinion the most fun. Infect! How perfect while proliferating and doing your gameplan you're just killing your opponents in the meantime. You can't tell me thats not funny. The three last ways is just either beatdown by all your huge proliferated two drops, immense value by ulting all your walkers or "},{"insert":{"card-link":"Psychosis Crawler"}},{"insert":" . "},{"insert":{"card-link":"Expropriate"}},{"insert":" usually wins you the game too. \nThere might be combo potential. I don't know. But that is not the intended way to win. \n"}]}
