Description
{"ops":[{"insert":"Hell, Hell, Hell has its laws\nHell, Hell, effects and the cause\nCurtain falls, but hold your applause\nSquirm, squirm, for now down here come the claws... \n\nof this deck. It is red and black and evil all over, full of devils, imps, demons and the occasional tiefling. It offers the essence of red and black MtG cards: being aggressive, stealing life, sacrifing the living and resurrecting the dead and burning and outright destroying anything that gets in your way. "},{"attributes":{"bold":true},"insert":"Raphael, Fiendish Savior"},{"insert":" leads it and who else would be more fitting? He is not cheap at 3BR, but is a 4/4 with flying which makes him dangerous as a commander. Furthermore he gives all of the aforementioned creatures a small power boost and gives them lifelink and if any of them die, you create a little devil as replacement that can explode. You can roughly separate the deck's creatures into two categories ala D&D: devils and demons. Devils cost less mana on average and are usually red. They are your aggressive go-wide monsters. Demons on the other hand are mostly black, massive creatures which are either expensive or come with some other cost when playing them. Many of them have flying or trample or both and are your enablers and finishers. Thanks to your commander this deck has a lot more staying power than other Rakdos colored decks, which most of the time play more like a cruise missile. As is nearly always the case, start your game by playing some lands and focus on ramp cards. Your commander comes much later and you should prepare for his arrival. Still, you have other cheap cards that could be worth it.
