TL;DR: this is to be drafted with 2 packs from the Cube + 1 new pack of fresh Magical cards, which will be added to the Cube after the fact. Should your ADHD Cube be still in its growing phase, or whenever you feel like it really, you can do what I will call a “Metamorphosis draft”."},{"attributes":{"align":"justify"},"insert":"\n\n"},{"attributes":{"background":"transparent"},"insert":"To Metamorphosis draft, shuffle your ADHD Cube and compose your 15-cards packs. Each player will draft two of those; for the third, you choose a MtG set and everyone gets a fresh pack from that set to crack (my group uses that as pack 1). If this is your first ever draft with the ADHD Cube and you want to start from absolutely zero, just pick up two more new packs each (for example, we started with pack 1 TLA, pack 2 ECL, pack 3 SOS)."},{"attributes":{"align":"justify"},"insert":"\n\n"},{"attributes":{"background":"transparent"},"insert":"Once the gaming session is over, you can perform the Metamorphosis Ritual: you select a number of cards from the ADHD cube to change (for example, we go by ranking: 1st place changes 9 cards, 2nd place changes 6, 3rd place goes for 3; 18 cards total). For the sake of whimsy, I’d suggest removing only non-altered cards if you have any;"},{"attributes":{"align":"justify","blockquote":true},"insert":"\n"},{"attributes":{"background":"transparent"},"insert":"If, AND ONLY IF, you can all be grown-ups about it, pulling a card from the Cube to keep for oneself (as a literal prize pool);"},{"attributes":{"align":"justify","blockquote":true},"insert":"\n"},{"attributes":{"background":"transparent"},"insert":"A secret fourth thing that I am unable to tell you, because it’s going to be whatever you decide is funny to do with the cards you change."},{"attributes":{"align":"justify","blockquote":true},"insert":"\n"},{"attributes":{"background":"transparent"},"insert":"As the whole concept of growing your ADHD Cube is about not really knowing what cards will end up in it, I advise against ADDING cards as a valid change."},{"attributes":{"align":"justify"},"insert":"\n\n"},{"attributes":{"background":"transparent"},"insert":"As an additional rule, I have it so that when claiming prizes ⅓ of your prizes must be alterings and cannot be removals. This avoids huge cube-shrinkings and guarantees the eventuality of silly shenanigans."},{"attributes":{"align":"justify"},"insert":"\n\n"},{"attributes":{"background":"transparent"},"insert":"Keep in mind how big you want your ADHD cube to become: once you decide on your limit (eg. 270), all new cards subsequently opened will be added to the ADHD Cube as long as you don’t hit that threshold. Conversely, if your ADHD Cube was at capacity when the draft started, whoever decides to retire/take a card also decides which of the new cards will take its place. How much of your ADHD Cube gets Ship-of-Theseused this way can be up to you.
