{"ops":[{"insert":"This is my updated version of the \"Desert Bloom\" precon from Outlaws of Thunder Junction. As a huge fan the Dune books and movies I was immediately attracted to the theme of the deck. I also never found lands decks very interesting, so the sacrifice theme is also what drew me to it.\nThe starting point was obviously the precon, but I have since changed out a lot of the cards. The plan with the update was to lower the average mana value, level up the land synergies, add more recursion and mill and give some more clear win cons like overrruns. I also upped the desert count to make more use of Yumas ability. The cards are organised by their function in the deck (most have multiple), as this is the easiest way for me to think about it while upgrading. I am aware that the deck is not at built in the most powerful way, but more fit for my budget and play style. I am constantly working on it, so that's why the sideboard and the maybe board are a bit messy at the moment. I use the deck tags to track which cards I currently own/plan on getting. The original upgrade was more on a budget and I am currently buying some more expensive cards to fill out some holes. Some of the cards aren't the most optimal choice, but I play them because I love them so much (e.g. Planetary Annihilation, Famished Worldsire).\n\nThe goal of the deck is putting deserts into the graveyard either by sacrificing, discarding or milling them to trigger Yuma and make a wide board of tokens. With recursion in play, ideally you will be able to loop your deserts back to replay them. The win cons are other land-related token makers to fill up the board, or classic overruns to pump your tokens. It is by its strong synergy and with the one game changer in bracket 3, altough it can be a bit slower to assemble.\n"}]}
