Description
{"ops":[{"insert":"A budget-friendly Dimir control deck designed to strip threats directly from the top of your opponents' libraries. By combining 'Lantern Control' tactics with Circu’s unique exile triggers, this deck grants you total information supremacy. See their hands, see their draws, and perform a surgical lobotomy on their strategy before they can even cast it. Win through a mix of grinding exile, massive mill payoffs, or a clinical infinite combo\n\nAnd this is a budget version. With higher powered, more expensive cards this deck has the potential to get very devious very quickly. Even now, it's pretty shady.\n\nThe Deck Primer\n\nI. The Philosophy: Information is Power\n\nMost decks play in the dark. This deck turns the lights on. By using Telepathy, Lantern of Insight, and Wizened Snitches, you remove the \"hidden\" element of the game. When you know exactly what is coming, your counterspells and Circu triggers become ten times more effective.\n\nII. The Engine: Surgical Exile\n\nCircu, Dimir Lobotomist triggers whenever you cast a Blue or Black spell.\n\nThe Goal: Use your 1-mana cantrips (Opt, Consider, Serum Visions) to trigger Circu at instant speed.\n\nThe \"Lock\": If you see a card on top of an opponent’s library that they need (or a basic land), cast a spell to exile it. Once a land is exiled with Circu, that opponent can no longer play lands of that name from their hand.\n\nIII. Win Conditions\n\nThe Clinical Combo: Mindcrank + Duskmantle Guildmage. Activate the Guildmage’s first ability. Any card hitting an opponent's graveyard (from a mill trigger or damage) starts a loop that mills their entire library and drains their life to zero.\n\nThe Heavy Hitter: Consuming Aberration. This card grows for every card in your opponents' graveyards. In a four-player game, this is often a 20/20 or larger, capable of ending a player in one or two swings.\n\nThe Grinder: Use Tasha's Hideous Laughter, Court of Cunning, and Sphinx's Tutelage to simply run your opponents out of resources.\n\nIV. Early Game & Mulligans\n\nKeep: Hands with at least one \"Vision\" card (Lantern, Telepathy, or Snitches) and 2–3 lands.\n\nAvoid: Hands with too many high-mana creatures like Hostage Taker or Gonti without early-game ramp.\n\nStrategy: Drop your mana rocks early and get a \"Vision\" piece on the board. Do not cast Circu until you have protection (Swiftfoot Boots) or enough mana to hold up a counterspell.\n\nV. Final Advice\n\nThis deck wins by being annoying. You will likely become the \"Archenemy\" once people realize they can't draw their favorite cards. Use your \"Pillow Fort\" cards (Propaganda, Revenge of Ravens) to discourage attacks while you assemble your combo.\n"}]}
