{"ops":[{"insert":"THEME - RUSH - THE TREES\n\nThere is unrest in the Forest\n There is trouble with the trees\n For the Maples want more sunlight\n And the Oaks ignore their pleas.\n\nThe trouble with the Maples\n (And they’re quite convinced they’re right)\n They say the Oaks are just too lofty\n And they grab up all the light\n \nBut the Oaks can’t help their feelings\n If they like the way they’re made\n And they wonder why the Maples\n Can’t be happy in their shade?\n\nThere is trouble in the Forest\n And the creatures all have fled\n As the Maples scream ‘Oppression!’\n And the Oaks, just shake their heads\n\nSo the Maples formed a Union\n And demanded equal rights\n ‘The Oaks are just too greedy\n We will make them give us light’\n \nNow there’s no more Oak oppression\n For they passed a noble law\n And the trees are all kept equal\n By hatchet,\n Axe,\n And saw…\n\nThe \"unrest\" and trouble\" begins the moment the other lofty oaks (3 opponents) sit down to play, Slimefoot steps in and steps up to protect the Union of Maple Saprolings while they grow and organize, building the tension.\n\nThe deck leans heavily into ramp as the Maples' struggle for more resources led by Slimefoot and the (Union of Maple) Thallids & Saprolings will rise up against their oppressors swarm & drain the life from the Lofty Oaks (3 opponent players).\n\nOnce the board is sufficiently filled with union members then their collectivism will force the passage of the \"noble laws\". \n\nThis populist collectivism knee-caps the meritocracy by way of the the sacrifice engine (Viscera Seer, Carrion Feeder, and Bloodthrone Vampire, Mirkwood Bats) bring \"equality\" to the pod and rights for the Maple Union on the backs of union members sacrifices, and by means of heavy removal in the form of Tragic Slip, Vicious Offering etc are \"noble laws\" bringing larger creatures down to size. \n\nSlimefoot himself is the main hatchet man leading the workers' rebellion weaponizing the sacrifices of his brothers, every time a Maple Saproling falls, he ensures everyone else pays for it too.\n\nDeck is a cycle of natural growth as one flora seeks to replace another in the never ceasing struggle for resources, survival and workers’ rights, and I hope make sense for having the theme be Rush’s song THE TREES. Slimefoot’s Union of Maple Saprolings & Thallids will make the board state \"equal\" through growth, organization and sacrifice, as we struggle for equal rights for workers built on the sacrifices of the Maple Union Members and those Oaks all will be brought down to size in the end by the axe, hatchet, and saw (in a more dark theme the Commander is just a shill for the billionaire class playing the middle and lower class against each other while using collectivism to keep the exceptional from rising up and foster resentment in the guise of equality, using one to murder the other, so that only the 1%, can win, like the song says in the end:\n\n\"Now there’s no more Oak oppression\n For they passed a noble law\nAnd the trees are all kept equal\n By hatchet,\n Axe,\n And saw…\"\n"}]}
