He's finding it difficult to get to the bottom of it because every time he seems to get close to cracking the case, all of his assistants keep dying. At least they're nice enough to stick around after and keep helping. \n\nThis deck is a spirits typal deck with a bit of a book subtheme. Proft uses the clues he finds across Innistrad to dig through his mental library and put the pieces together. Lots of card draw and a card that got banned in standard ("},{"insert":{"card-link":"Proft's Eidetic Memory"}},{"insert":") so it probably functions okay. \n\nThere's not much of a win-con with this deck, but there is a cute little combo with "},{"insert":{"card-link":"Marina Vendrell's Grimoire"}},{"insert":" ,"},{"insert":{"card-link":"Living Conundrum"}},{"insert":" (I know not a spirit exactly, but it is "},{"attributes":{"italic":true},"insert":"kinda "},{"insert":"like a book. Its got pages and such), and "},{"insert":{"card-link":"Merchant of Truth"}},{"insert":" (again, I know neither a spirit nor a book, but at least there's some overlap of angels on Innistrad and Ravnica. Its the biggest stretch I'll have you make because its "},{"attributes":{"italic":true},"insert":"sooo "},{"insert":"good if it works and the name still kinda fits theme. Its fine) to hit your opponents for 10+ damage in the air repeatedly if you empty your library. \n\nI hope this janky, silly little deck from my three favorite Magic settings (Innistrad, Ravnica, and Duskmourn) makes some people smile. AND APPRECIATE THE MKM WAS ACTUALLY PRETTY GOOD! (Maybe not the best set of that year but AT LEAST better then Aetherdrift, right?)\n"}]}
