The core loop immediately clicked with me: exile cards from your deck, play them from exile, generate Treasures in the process, and use those Treasures to keep the engine running and play even more cards from exile. It's a simple idea, but it felt fresh and different from anything else I was playing at the time.\n\nWhat I couldn't have known back then is that Prosper would go on to become one of the most heavily played commanders in the Rakdos color identity. Turns out I stumbled onto something a lot of people love — I just got there early.\n\nI had a great time with the original precon and kept chipping away at it over time with small upgrades here and there. My focus was always on the same handful of things: better and more efficient ways to get cards into exile so I could play them, more dedicated Treasure support, theft effects that actually fit the strategy instead of just being cute, and general artifact synergy to tie it all together. Piece by piece, the deck grew into something much more consistent and much more powerful than where it started.\n\nThese days, this is my Value Commander deck. It's the one I reach for when I want a game defined by constant incremental advantage — always doing something, always generating resources, always finding an angle.\n\n"},{"attributes":{"bold":true},"insert":"HOW TO PLAY THE DECK"},{"insert":"\nThe core gameplan is a simple, repeatable loop: exile cards so they can be played from exile, play cards from exile and generate Treasures in return, trigger artifact synergies off those Treasures, and repeat — letting the value pile up.\n\nProsper is the heart of this engine. Getting him onto the battlefield as early as possible — and keeping him protected from removal — is a priority, since so much of the deck's card advantage flows directly through him.\n\nBut Prosper isn't just the piece you have to protect — he can also protect the plan himself.
