Description
{"ops":[{"insert":"This is an unusual Rev deck focused on evasive creature beatdown + lifelink instead of just mindlessly trying to steal as many cards as possible.\n\nThe deck focuses on turning the act of \"hitting people in the face\" into all kinds of profit. Mostly card draw and making treasures and other tokens. \n\nThere is some sacrifice synergy like braids or obsessive pursuit but it is pretty much only focused on treasures/clues/food. There is a little bit of drain with mirkwood bats but that is only in the deck because the bats are a flying creature as well and thus fits the game plan.\n\n"},{"attributes":{"bold":true},"insert":"But why no theft?"},{"insert":"\nThe deck still steals cards but I found that having a game plan that does not rely on getting extremely lucky is kinda key to a fun deck. For me the stolen cards are a bonus. It is still pretty likely that you end up stealing a removal spell, ramp spells or generically good cards.\n\n"},{"attributes":{"bold":true},"insert":"Power Level:"},{"insert":"\nIn general this deck is firmly in bracket 2 territory. Wins are very telegraphed and mostly don't just happen because you found your craterhoof. If someone is interested in taking this idea and making it into a stronger deck with better wincons just take out the damage doublers and instead run stuff like exsanguinate/torment/gary/etc. -> if you grind out the game with lifegain and make a LOT of mana with coffers/stronghold/cryptghast that can easily win the game on the spot. I just don't run it because i find it kinda boring and this list is meant to be my chill bracket 2 deck that I can play against precons.\n"}]}
