It hasn't been an easy deck to build, but after years of refinement, I think I've reached something viable and fun.\n\nRather than play a lot of crappy scarecrows that didn’t justify their CMCs, I reduced their number, added changelings -- picking cheaper monsters overall -- and leaned heavily into blink effects. The end result is much more effective. \n\nBut first you have to overcome the large challenge of getting Reaper King onto the field quickly. The deck functionally operates in two phases: (A.) establishing a WURBG mana base and then (B.) destroying opponent permanents. I've tried to rebalance lands and mana stones to hit those colors as soon as possible, but the harsh reality is that mana ramp costs real $$$ for this commander. Very frustrating.
