With good 3-5 mana spells, she may even not cast until later in the game.\n\nThis deck typically wins by getting a handful (3-5) of flyers ("},{"insert":{"card-link":"Qarsi Revenant"}},{"insert":", "},{"insert":{"card-link":"Vampire Nighthawk"}},{"insert":", "},{"insert":{"card-link":"Nighthawk Scavenger"}},{"insert":", etc.), buffed with some anthem ("},{"insert":{"card-link":"Markov Baron"}},{"insert":", "},{"insert":{"card-link":"Heraldic Banner"}},{"insert":", etc.) or +1/+1 counters ("},{"insert":{"card-link":"Cordial Vampire"}},{"insert":", "},{"insert":{"card-link":"Necropolis Regent"}},{"insert":", etc). This effectively turns on "},{"insert":{"card-link":"Henrika Domnathi // Henrika, Infernal Seer"}},{"insert":"'s edict ability as you have a cheap creature to sacrifice. Using that edict later on around turn 4-5 can usually snipe you a commander and another value creature.\n\nTurns 3-5: These turns can vary from game to game. The 3-5 mana slots are pretty full and you can have a lot of choices. If you have strong vampires and anthem effects, you can go more aggressive to develop a board state, but try to ensure you've got draw options before you entirely run out of lands or cards. Typically, you don't want to block and lose creatures at this stage. The lifelink will kick in soon and you should be fine. Keep swinging and keep the card draw going. The mana doublers/anthems ("},{"insert":{"card-link":"Caged Sun"}},{"insert":" "},{"insert":{"card-link":"Gauntlet of Power"}},{"insert":") offer a lot of utility. At this stage, you should have a decent lifegain engine going each turn. If you have a lifegain/drain effect ("},{"insert":{"card-link":"Enduring Tenacity"}},{"insert":"), drain the player who's the biggest threat. Keep up a deathtouch blocker or two to dissuade would-be attackers.\n\nPlaying this deck requires feeling out when to apply pressure and deploy your threats.
