Description
{"ops":[{"insert":"This deck simply looks to capitalize on the creature entrances. Karametra feels like Chulane, before Chulane. While the draw is not present on the commander, the deck can achieve it and the tutoring of lands is clearly powerful. As with Chulane, "},{"insert":{"card-link":"Whitemane Lion"}},{"insert":" and "},{"insert":{"card-link":"Stonecloaker"}},{"insert":" play starring roles in the deck.\n\n6/13/21 Update: After playing the deck for a couple months, I've found what many lands decks find, which is that you run out of lands. As a result, I've added the \"Recycle\" category. The intent being that I can sacrifice lands and get them back into the library so that the deck can keep doing its thing. I don't believe I've set this up to be infinite, but I think adding something like "},{"insert":{"card-link":"Repopulate"}},{"insert":" could make sure that "},{"insert":{"card-link":"Loaming Shaman"}},{"insert":" always ends up back in the library for perhaps connecting some infinite combos.\n\nWhile I don't think this build can go infinite, there is a semi-infinite loop available: "},{"insert":{"card-link":"Karametra, God of Harvests"}},{"insert":" + "},{"insert":{"card-link":"Panharmonicon"}},{"insert":" + "},{"insert":{"card-link":"Whitemane Lion"}},{"insert":" + "},{"insert":{"card-link":"Lotus Cobra"}},{"insert":". At its most basic, because Panharmonicon would allow the Whitemane Lion's entrance to trigger Karametra twice, we would search for two basic lands, thus, triggering Lotus Cobra twice, giving us enough mana to cast Whitemane Lion again. This would get all basic lands out of the deck.\n\nWith the above combo, you could, of course, throw in some other components and extend the impact of this loop. Add a "},{"insert":{"card-link":"Guardian Project"}},{"insert":" and you draw equal to the number of basics remaining in your library. Or add "},{"insert":{"card-link":"Aura Shards"}},{"insert":" and you can get rid of almost any enchant or artifact. With my added recycle package, you can get even grosser by adding in the "},{"insert":{"card-link":"Mycosynth Lattice"}},{"insert":" and destroy every permanent your opponents control.\n\nI've added the "},{"insert":{"card-link":"Goblin Charbelcher"}},{"insert":", per the suggestion of Andy (Legendary Creature - Podcast). Since it's not unlikely to get most are all lands out of the deck, an activation can spell death to an opponent.\n\nI've enjoyed playing the deck. I think it's important to be swift about your actions when playing it, because it can feel a little bit like solitaire to opponents if you don't make it quick. But there are few games where I'm not really active and involved, even though being creature oriented does make it less likely to win than other decks.\n"}]}
