{"ops":[{"insert":"A toolbox deck with a million possible lines, add 18 dragons from the sideboard to round the deck out. \n\nDragons in bracket 2+ are for classic big stompy dragons and some fun tech cards that aren't too powerful, nothing that gains "},{"attributes":{"italic":true},"insert":"too"},{"insert":" much value off a single scion connection.\n"},{"attributes":{"italic":true},"insert":"(with all the tutors and powerful reanimation in the deck and command zone the deck is still a bracket 3 even with 18 bracket 2 level dragons it just won't be vomiting out dragons for free or comboing off)"},{"insert":"\n\nDragons in bracket 3+ have the possibility for one shot combos or otherwise spit out so much advantage on a scion connection that you become archenemy.\n\nDragons in bracket 4 enable infinite combos or give so much advantage on a scion connection that you should win on the next turn.\n\nCombo lines:\n\nWorldgorger Dragon + Animate Dead/Necromancy/Dance with the Dead\nWorldgorger + one of these reanimate spells turns into an infinite loop where all your permanents flicker in and out, leads to infinite mana/sac triggers. With infinite mana you can vomit every dragon in the deck into the yard with Scion and do whatever other combos you can think of like ending the Worldgorger Dragon loop by reanimating Colossal Grave-Reaver, then you can put every single dragon in the deck onto the field and give it all haste with Dragonlord Kolaghan.\n\nThis is the strongest card in the deck if used for the combos so only add it in high power tables.\n\n\nMoltensteel Dragon + Skittles/Dragon Tyrant:\nTrigger Scion twice, finding Moltensteel Dragon and use firebreathing as much as needed to kill with the dragon you turn into with the second trigger, 6 times for Skittles. Enough power to kill with commander damage for anything else\n\n\nHellkite Charger + Oldgnaw Bone/Savage Dreadmaw/Klauth, Unrivaled Ancient/Ancient Copper Dragon\nHellkite Charger can make infinite (or just a lot with Savage Dreadmaw) extra combats to kill the table with when you make enough mana to loop its effect\n\n\nBeldros Witherbloom:\nYou can add Beledros to the start of any chain with multiple Scion triggers. After triggering Scion multiple times, look for Beldros first and untap all your lands before turning into the dragon you wanted. This is a good way to do Scion things while still having all your mana untapped to do Scion activations on enemy turns and hold up counterspells, or just to play more dragons. Beldros leads to a lot of freedom in your lines but does make the deck kind of repetitive since you almost always want to lead with it for the free mana it gives while you're chaining Scion triggers.\n\nNote that with reanimation spells Beldros counts as a new permanent, meaning you can untap all of your lands multiple times.\n\nColossal Grave-Reaver:\nStarting a Scion chain with Colossal Grave-Reaver gives you a free copy of the next dragon you entomb in the chain after it, just make sure it's not a legendary dragon unless you're purposely trying to sac it like with Kokusho. This can setup multi dragon combos really easily like the Hellkite Charge + Mana making dragon lines. Or you can just make a ton of dragons by popping Scion 3 times, first finding Colossal Grave-Reaver, Utvara Hellkite second, getting it onto the battlefield, then finally searching for Goldlust Triad and getting three 6/6 dragons\n\nAncient Brass Dragon:\nYou can end a chain of Scion triggers with Ancient Brass Dragon to fill the graveyard for targets to hit.\n\nHellkite Tyrant + Ancient Copper Dragon/Cavern-Hoard Dragon:\nAncient Copper Dragon and Cavern Hoard Dragon both make tons of artifacts for Hellkite Tyrant's win the game effect\n\n\nProtection Dragons:\n\nQuicksilver Dragon:\nWith 3+ mana open you can turn into Quicksilver Dragon and redirect single target removal spells pointed at Scion\n\nChromium, the Mutable:\nTurn into Chromium, discard a card, become indestructable. Chromium is also a way to sneak Scion in for big damage after a firebreathing effect\n\nIymrith, Desert Doom:\nWard 4. Best used to protect Scion if you didn't have haste since it won't work if Scion is tapped from attacking\n\n\nTech Pieces:\n\nTeferi's Protection:\nSince Scion only turns back into Scion at the end of a turn, if it's phased out while that check happens Scion will stay that dragon until it's removed/re-flickered\n\nQuandrix Command: \nThe target player shuffles 3 cards from grave back into library effect is a good way to dodge graveyard hate and gives a way to reuse dragons with Scion\n\nWarmonger Hellkite:\nOn opponent's upkeep you can tutor for Warmonger and force that opponent to fully swing out\n\nAny when this creature dies dragons:\nWeaker power but very good as a spite play when someone goes to kill Scion and you don't have any protection. Mirrorwing Dragon doesn't have a dies trigger but same kind of spiteful effect if someone tried to remove Scion\n\n\n\n"}]}
