Description
{"ops":[{"insert":"[Halsin + Cloakwood $50 Budget Deck]\nThis deck offers some interesting card choices, like cycling, which add variety to keep this deck interesting to pilot and play against. Halsin's ability takes a lot of mana to making tokens 4/4 and you'll often want to do this in combat or when blocking. To tackle this issue I decided focus vigilance and giving creatures the ability to tap mana, even though there isn't many option on this budget. Addition to this added lot of ramp and synergistic self-mill and other recursion helps to dig for this semi-combo line. \n\n[Early Game]\nIdeally we want turn 1 ramp, followed by background and commander. In early turns it's also good to set up our self-mill and card draw engines.\n\n[Mid Game]\nThe obvious choice here is self-mill, which also functions as semi-card draw with recursion to bring key pieces back into play. We run creatures to making self-mills more effective, our removal, ramp and draw is also creature based. This reduced using normal staples on the deck you normally see. Cycling creatures are also great addition to in this deck triggering commander and same time adding some value to the board at instant speed. While we set up our hand and graveyard and slowdown others, we make tokens as byproduct. Blocking our non-tokens can be problematic to our opponents since it gives us tokens as well.\n\n[Late Game]\nDraw or use recursion to get our game winning pieces to the battlefield and ideally make our creatures to tap mana and give them vigilance. This enables us attack and grow our power at the same time without tapping a single land. We now can freely use to our mana to pump the team in various ways. Even some overrun effect combined with commander's ability might be enough to close out the game. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n"}]}
