{"ops":[{"insert":"This is a self mill value deck built around Sidisi's trigger where we win with a huge board or alternate win con. \n\nThe key to the whole deck is Sidisi's trigger making a zombie when a creature is milled. We want to mill repeatedly to reliably make zombies to convert into other resources or a win so the creature count is north of 50% by design. She doesn't care if more than one creature is milled, she only ever makes one zombie per trigger so one big self mill spell won't cut it. \n\nThe main engines are Path of Discovery, Gossip’s Talent, and Snarling Gorehound. Whenever a zombie enters each of these will give us a mill or surveil (which also counts as mill for Sidisi) trigger. With two of these or two Sidisis (from clones) we can consistently mill the whole deck in one chain that we can stop on demand, usually. The win comes from cards like Mortal Combat on upkeep, Syr Konrad burning as we mill, or Geralf, the Fleshwright making steadily bigger tokens. The backup is Lab Man though we don't have a way to restock the library so he's more of a break glass in case of emergency type card. Can't commit to milling the whole deck if you know the table is the type to hold removal until the next draw hits the stack. \n\nAlong the way we get value from the main plan with a list of cards that want to see the mill triggers (Hedge Shredder, Colossal Grave-Reaver), that use the zombie bodies (Priest of Forgotten Gods, Braids, Arisen Nightmare), or play from the graveyard(Muldrotha, the Gravetide, Kotis, Sibsig Champion). The big theme and the starting point for me building this deck was a big Splendid Reclamation type of effect, that's why we have seven different ways to make this happen:\n\nSplendid Reclamation\nWorld Shaper\nAftermath Analyst\nWill of the Sultai\nSummon: Titan\nTitania, Voice of Gaea / Argoth, Sanctum of Nature\nThe Mending of Dominaria\n\nDoing this is always worth it whether it's turn 4 for 4 lands or turn 8 for 20 and a landfall trigger or two. Getting way ahead on mana is always good and it lets you keep pushing for a win even when you get stopped repeatedly. Eventually your opponents will run out of answers. \n\nWith the main idea out of the way, lets discuss some of the finer points. \n\nFollowing through on a win with lab man is easy when you can respond to removal with enough mana free draw triggers. Cryptbreaker can do this reliably without haste as long as you have more zombie to tap. Also remember that this ability can be used early game on endstep before your turn if you didn't need to block with your zombies or before damage if you did. Unless you have plenty of mana and nothing to do it's better to leave your zombies up for blocking, especially if your opponents know what you're up to so they will see you as a threat from the start.\n\nEven if you have no cards in hand, don't be afraid to send half the deck to the bin. Dread Return is a mana free reanimate spell you can cast from the graveyard when you mill it. It's one of your most flexible tools, getting a draw engine or a win con on board. Lazav, the Multifarious can do the same but better as you can even do it in response to your next trigger when you see Geralf or Grave-Reaver go down as long as you have the mana to do it. Once you have Lab Man set up you can even put draw triggers on the stack immediately with Uro, Titan of Nature's Wrath from the gy or a sac outlet with Grim Haruspex on board.\n\nSpeaking of which, Agent Venom and friends are there to fuel your hand as you sac for other value but it's also a boardwipe deterrent. You will untap with more mana and more cards than your opponents if you survive the rotation. Just be careful putting more than one on board as some of them also lose you life and can be lethal. \n\nIf Sidisi gets denied hard don't be afraid to start cloning other things for value. Every clone is legend agnostic so getting a second Syr Konrad or Muldrotha can put a win on the stack if not you'll be way ahead. \n\nChatterfang, Squirrel General works the same as a clone for your combo turn. It doesn't inherently mill when it enters but each mill trigger will get you two bodies instead of one.\n\nWith so many creatures Eladamri, Korvecdal can be a 3 mana draw 5 and he reliably sneaks a fat creature on board as you always have tokens to fuel his activated ability. With 30 spells in the deck at 4mv or higher Glarb is just as valuable and he helps trigger Sidisi to boot. \n\nKiora's Follower is great because it untaps mana early but it can also untap one of 5 creatures that are more than just surveil or mana to use them again. \n\nRemember that Wight of the Reliquary is not just basics. Some of your best targets are :\nCrypt of Agadeem - Huge ritual spell if your gy is stacked.\nCommand Beacon - To bring back Sidisi if she's at 8+ mana\nArgoth, Sanctum of Nature - Half of a Splendid effect with Titania, Voice of Gaea and a mill trigger in a pinch.\nLotus Field - Sac lands before a splendid effect\nSunken Palace - What's better than one Gary to close out the game? two of them!\nAnd of course Field of the Dead but don't go get this unless it's already online or you'll get targeted down before you get any value from it. Sticking this on board on the endstep before your turn will set off alarms and for good reason.\n\n Mulligans should be aiming for mana or draw along with all your colors, as with most decks. Don't keep a combo piece without other advantage engines or you'll do nothing if it gets denied, and they will if they've seen the deck go off before though they can be unassuming to unfamiliar victims. Ramp into Sidisi t3 is not a bad plan but she doesn't do much on her own. Most of the deck gets value from her in one way or another so that's not a bad plan if you're already going down to 5 or 6. \n\nOverall this is a fun deck to puzzle out as you play. Finding weird paths to a win is one of the most rewarding things about the deck but remember that watching you fiddle with your graveyard is no fun so make sure you goldfish the deck at least a few times before your first test run. \n"}]}
