Deck tag: Type Hack

What is Type Hack in Magic?

• Artificial Evolution
• Amoeboid Changeling
• Unnatural Selection

Type Hack decks change creature types appearing on cards or grant creatures new types to manipulate typal interactions. A narrow typal payoff can become considerably less narrow when everything is suddenly the creature type you need.

Arcane Adaptation and Conspiracy can give your entire creature collection one chosen type, while Artificial Evolution can rewrite creature-type words in rules text. Type hacks enable both serious combos and magnificently silly thematic decks.
