Doubling Season

If an effect would create one or more tokens under your control, it creates twice that many of those tokens instead.
If an effect would put one or more counters on a permanent you control, it puts twice that many of those counters on that permanent instead.

Grimoire of the Dead

{1}, {T}, Discard a card: Put a study counter on Grimoire of the Dead.
{T}, Remove three study counters from Grimoire of the Dead and sacrifice it: Put all creature cards from all graveyards onto the battlefield under your control. They're black Zombies in addition to their other colors and types.

Pir, Imaginative Rascal

Partner with Toothy, Imaginary Friend (When this creature enters the battlefield, target player may put Toothy into their hand from their library, then shuffle.)
If one or more counters would be put on a permanent your team controls, that many plus one of each of those kinds of counters are put on that permanent instead.

Xolatoyac, the Smiling Flood

Whenever Xolatoyac, the Smiling Flood enters the battlefield or attacks, put a flood counter on target land. That land is an Island in addition to its other types for as long as it has a flood counter on it.
At the beginning of your end step, untap each permanent you control with a counter on it.

Bribe Taker

When Bribe Taker enters the battlefield, for each kind of counter on permanents you control, you may put your choice of a +1/+1 counter or a counter of that kind on Bribe Taker.

Magma Mine

{4}: Put a pressure counter on Magma Mine.

This ability costs {1} less to activate for each legendary creature you control.

Mercadian Lift

{T}, Remove X winch counters from Mercadian Lift: You may put a creature card with mana value X from your hand onto the battlefield.

Lux Cannon

{T}: Put a charge counter on Lux Cannon.
{T}, Remove three charge counters from Lux Cannon: Destroy target permanent.

Exotic Pets

Create two 1/1 blue Fish creature tokens with "This creature can't be blocked." Then for each kind of counter among creatures you control, put a counter of that kind on either of those tokens.

Simic Manipulator

Evolve (Whenever a creature enters the battlefield under your control, if that creature has greater power or toughness than this creature, put a +1/+1 counter on this creature.)

Whenever you cast a noncreature spell, choose a counter on target permanent. Put an additional counter of that kind on that permanent.

Bloated Contaminator

Chasm Skulker

When Chasm Skulker dies, create X 1/1 blue Squid creature tokens with islandwalk, where X is the number of +1/+1 counters on Chasm Skulker. (They can't be blocked as long as defending player controls an Island.)
