Vanishing Verse

Path to Exile

Exile target creature. Its controller may search their library for a basic land card, put that card onto the battlefield tapped, then shuffle.

Liliana of the Veil

+1: Each player discards a card.
−2: Target player sacrifices a creature.
−6: Separate all permanents target player controls into two piles. That player sacrifices all permanents in the pile of their choice.

Sword of Fire and Ice

Equipped creature gets +2/+2 and has protection from red and from blue.
Whenever equipped creature deals combat damage to a player, Sword of Fire and Ice deals 2 damage to any target and you draw a card.

As Godless Shrine enters, you may pay 2 life. If you don't, it enters tapped.

Kaya's Guile

Choose two —
• Each opponent sacrifices a creature of their choice.
• Exile all opponents' graveyards.
• Create a 1/1 white and black Spirit creature token with flying.
• You gain 4 life.

Fatal Push

Destroy target creature if it has mana value 2 or less.

When Skyclave Apparition enters, exile up to one target nonland, nontoken permanent you don't control with mana value 4 or less.
When Skyclave Apparition leaves the battlefield, the exiled card's owner creates an X/X blue Illusion creature token, where X is the mana value of the exiled card.

Gideon, Ally of Zendikar

+1: Until end of turn, Gideon, Ally of Zendikar becomes a 5/5 Human Soldier Ally creature with indestructible that's still a planeswalker. Prevent all damage that would be dealt to him this turn.
0: Create a 2/2 white Knight Ally creature token.
−4: You get an emblem with "Creatures you control get +1/+1."

Thoughtseize

Target player reveals their hand. You choose a nonland card from it. That player discards that card. You lose 2 life.

Damping Sphere

If a land is tapped for two or more mana, it produces {C} instead of any other type and amount.
Each spell a player casts costs {1} more to cast for each other spell that player has cast this turn.

Auriok Champion

Protection from black and from red
Whenever another creature enters, you may gain 1 life.

Ashiok, Dream Render

Spells and abilities your opponents control can't cause their controller to search their library.
−1: Target player mills four cards. Then exile each opponent's graveyard.

Collective Brutality

• Target opponent reveals their hand. You choose an instant or sorcery card from it. That player discards that card.

At the beginning of your upkeep, reveal the top card of your library and put that card into your hand. You lose life equal to its mana value.

When Rest in Peace enters, exile all graveyards.
If a card or token would be put into a graveyard from anywhere, exile it instead.

−1: Exile target nonland permanent with mana value 1 or less.
−5: Kaya, Orzhov Usurper deals damage to target player equal to the number of cards that player owns in exile and you gain that much life.

Lingering Souls

Create two 1/1 white Spirit creature tokens with flying.
Flashback {1}{B} (You may cast this card from your graveyard for its flashback cost. Then exile it.)

Whenever an opponent casts a noncreature spell, that player loses 2 life and you gain 2 life.
