It only has two creatures ("},{"insert":{"card-link":"Darksteel Colossus"}},{"insert":" and "},{"insert":{"card-link":"Worldspine Wurm"}},{"insert":" ) so Prismatic Bridge is guaranteed to grab one of them each turn. The rest of the deck is filled with 40 instants and 10 sorceries. Most of these are charms or split cards since these are able to fill multiple roles in the deck. Even the mana ramp can fill multiple roles. For example, with "},{"insert":{"card-link":"Dire-Strain Rampage"}},{"insert":" acting as either a "},{"insert":{"card-link":"Harrow"}},{"insert":" or a "},{"insert":{"card-link":"Naturalize"}},{"insert":" and it has flashback.\n\nTo make things better, even if they some how kill one of those creatures (for example using a Fleshbag Marauder to force you to sacrifice Darksteel Colossus or Worldspine Wurm) you immediately get it back the next turn from prismatic bridge since both of these creatures shuffle themselves back into your library when they die. Also, since they aren't being cast they can't be countered; and if they get exiled I can get them back with "},{"insert":{"card-link":"Pull from Eternity"}},{"insert":". Luckily, I have some counterspells and some cards that can sac my creatures at instant speed so that should help mitigate the exiling issue.\n\nSome of my favorite cards to use in this deck are: \n"},{"insert":{"card-link":"Artifact Mutation"}},{"insert":", "},{"insert":{"card-link":"Tend the Pests"}},{"insert":", and/or "},{"insert":{"card-link":"Mercy Killing"}},{"insert":" to generate tokens at instant speed immediately before one's turn starts.\n\n"},{"insert":{"card-link":"Worthy Cause"}},{"insert":" on Worldspine Wurm to generate 15 life and three 5/5's each turn.\n\n"},{"insert":{"card-link":"Cabaretti Confluence"}},{"insert":" as a finisher, generating three copies of Worldspine Wurm.\n\nHowever, the best part about this deck is that its only about $72 if you don't include the price for lands and another 18$ of that is just the two creatures. If someone wanted to make a cheaper copy of this deck they could just include "},{"insert":{"card-link":"Serra Avatar"}},{"insert":" instead and the deck would only be about $50-$60. \n"}]}

Ever seen that before? Now you can! In addition to using one of the oldest and most bizarre mechanics to perform the strangest of combat wins, this deck can jockey charge counters where there shouldn't be charge counters, have Guile and Krenko go out drinking to wreck the world, legitimately make use of "},{"insert":{"card-link":"Magnetic Web"}},{"insert":" to make combat a weirder place, and have a line of play where giving away a heavily mustered [[Assemble the Legion]] is fairly setting up for a kill. The idea is that any card manifested can be flipped into play so long as it is not an instant or sorcery, meaning that this deck gets to cheat out expensive cards, play off the top of the deck, and ramp on lands hard in colors that don't traditionally do that. The only reason I'm not playing the manifest instants and sorceries is because they're a nonbo if flipped by other manifest cards.\n"}]}

The other 50% includes a hodgepodge of other themes, including bird tribal, birthing pod, and for some reason I cannot surmise, planeswalkers. But today, I present to you with a theme for him not even on the EDHREC list: Persist, using persist creatures as both value engines and combo finishers. This is because we can sacrifice them, return the back to the battlefield, and then remove the -1/-1 counter with Falco in order to cast a spell off the top, netting us card advantage and another free sacrifice! We take advantage of this value to stuff this deck full of on-theme combos that can kill our opponents quick. In addition to usual infinite-sacrifice shenanigans (e.g. "},{"insert":{"card-link":"Vizier of Remedies"}},{"insert":", "},{"insert":{"card-link":"Good-Fortune Unicorn"}},{"insert":"), but we also have multiple ways to draw our whole deck with "},{"insert":{"card-link":"Sensei's Divining Top"}},{"insert":", one of them including "},{"insert":{"card-link":"Sinking Feeling"}},{"insert":" and a creature that taps for more than two mana. Grandeur! You know, that one mechanic that was only ever used on five cards in Future Sight? This deck's ultimate goal is to abuse Linessa's grandeur ability to strip away our opponents' boards by making a copy of Linessa with one of a myriad of clone effects ("},{"insert":{"card-link":"Supplant Form"}},{"insert":" is my personal favorite), letting the original die to the legend rule, then getting it back into our hand and discarding it to the copy. In order to really get this grandeur train rolling, however, we'll need to pop a "},{"insert":{"card-link":"Tamiyo, the Moon Sage"}},{"insert":" ultimate - which is at least somewhat possible thanks to "},{"insert":{"card-link":"Deepglow Skate"}},{"insert":" and friends. With that, every time we discard Linessa to her doppelganger, she comes right back to hand to get discarded again. Additionally, since we're discarding cards (well, "},{"attributes":{"italic":true},"insert":"card"},{"insert":"), effects like "},{"insert":{"card-link":"Wharf Infiltrator"}},{"insert":" and "},{"insert":{"card-link":"Mystic Redaction"}},{"insert":" can be excellent ways to close out a game when your opponents are deprived of resources.\n\nSo that's my extremely janky (yet hilarious) combo deck utilizing both a commander that's unheard of by most people as well as a mechanic that's extremely rare and is (in most cases) completely useless in a singleton format like commander. Helmed by "},{"insert":{"card-link":"Valki, God of Lies // Tibalt, Cosmic Impostor"}},{"insert":", this deck aims to use Tibalt's ultimate, then immediately fill our graveyard a little bit, cast "},{"insert":{"card-link":"Immortal Coil"}},{"insert":", and then donate it to each of our opponents in turn to kill them in one fell swoop. The deck's main package utilized reanimation spells and "},{"insert":{"card-link":"Arcane Bombardment"}},{"insert":" (which can also be used to recur "},{"insert":{"card-link":"Harmless Offering"}},{"insert":") in order to either get out big, dangerous, and oppressive creatures like "},{"insert":{"card-link":"Archon of Cruelty"}},{"insert":" and "},{"insert":{"card-link":"Razaketh, the Foulblooded"}},{"insert":", who can also tutor for our combo pieces, or continuously recur small resource-stripping creatures like "},{"insert":{"card-link":"Demon's Disciple"}},{"insert":" and "},{"insert":{"card-link":"Fulminator Mage"}},{"insert":". To throw off interaction, we can also grab our "},{"insert":{"card-link":"Deflecting Swat"}},{"insert":", either to protect Tibalt or to prevent Coil from being countered. We also have some proliferate pieces like "},{"insert":{"card-link":"Yawgmoth, Thran Physician"}},{"insert":" that we can use to get Tibalt to his final ability that much faster. {"ops":[{"insert":"My submission is a deck that features a commander/background pair that only has 3 decks according to edhrec and is a popular theme in the wrong color idenity. I present Lulu, Loyal Holyphant with Sword Coast Sailor, the Azorius Ninjutsu deck. By utilizing ninjas, I can manipulate the leaving the battlefield requirement for Lulu's ability. Additionally, the background enables me to be able to attack every combat with Lulu without worrying about being blocked which means I can ninjutsu her back to my hand if need be. Using cards like resourceful defense, I can ensure that the counters Lulu is providing are sticking around even through the ninjutsu.
