A creature set as your deck’s Companion is moved to your Sideboard and a pink tag with a paw icon is added to the upper right-hand corner of the card image. Cards in your deck that are outside of your Companion’s deckbuilding restriction will be outlined in red and listed under “View deck errors” on the banner at the top of the page. While this is the correct place for it in most formats, Commander/EDH technically doesn’t have sideboards. If you’d prefer to move it to a different category, you can do so.
