It's a simic sea creature themed deck with the face being that of Aesi. However, this not the actual commander but another way to ramp to help bring out one of the actual commanders. The decks actual commanders are The Mindskinner and Fleet Swallower. The idea of the deck is to mill out the opponents while drawing cards to get to the commanders/thin the deck, curate the draws with scrying effects to put either big creatures or numerous tokens on the board while placing multiple lands on each turn so there is plenty of mana for the big spells that reside in the deck.\n Milling opponents of course will make you an immediate target. So cards like counter spell, didn't say please and arcane denial are present. Board clears like crush of tentacles and engulf the shore for clearing the way. While the creatures allow for scrying (ie Kenessos, Priest of Thassa), making the seas creature unblockable (ie Serpent of Yawning Depths), generating creature tokens (ie Nadir Kraken), getting the big bodies on board for free/less (ie Kiora, Sovereign of the Deep) and card draw (ie Tatyova, Benthic Druid). While all this is going on your reducing your opponents outs to your creatures by putting more and more of their library in their graveyard. Thus the deck makes you feel like stranded in the middle of the ocean with no answers and who knows what just outside your vision below the surface. \n"}]}
