The power level or play style might not be a perfect match, but its a deck that neatly tied together a lot of the cards that Ive liked over time. It's a combo heavy deck that \"combines\" (I honestly forgot if they actually combined in 60 card or not) two different modern decks: Splinter Twin and Pod Combo. I think that if the cards were legal at the same time, it would have happened anyway (pod tutoring into your combo).\n\nIt's a very tight list, with a somewhat large engine requirement, and some cards I think dig really well. Other cards, like Uro or Oko, are there because I like them and thought they'd be a nice nod again to the modern format (which has moved away from such cards finally). It's also a deck that benefits a lot from fetchlands which are a mainstay in eternal 60 card formats. I would like more nods to the format, but there are just too many cards that came out in such a short time that I couldnt get them all :C\n"}]}

If you were trying to pod you wouldn't use Splinter Twin just because you find your combo creature but you still have to find the splinter twin. {"ops":[{"insert":"This is my first time submitting a deck to such a contest I'm super hyped! My favourite 60 card deck era is decks between 1999 and 2003 so I decided to go with one of those. My favorite deck from the finalists of the world championship of 2000 is mono blue tinker which was created by Jon Finkel. Obviously the card itself is banned in commander so I had to improvise. Here's what I came up with:\n\nIt took a bit of work to find out which commander to choose from, but the one I settled on is Arcum Dagson as there is no better representation of the spirit of the original deck! \n\nthe goal of the deck is to ramp really hard to be able to activate Arcum's ability between turn 2 and 4 at least 90% of the time which after a few hours of testing I can attest it works. I focused on small artifact creatures to sac to the commander's ability like ornithopter and memnite as well as creatures who fragment themselves on death like Wurmcoil engine Phyrexian engine etc. \n\nSome of the first targets we can cheat in from Arcum's ability are value engines and protection like Darsteel Forge, Portal to Phyrexia, Darksteel Monolith or Chimil, The Inner Sun.\n\nOn subsequent turns once we're well established we can then start focusing on our wincons like Blightsteel Colossus, Cyberman Squadron and Cyberdrive Awakener.\n\nI've also sprinkled a pinch of stax pieces like Torpor Orb, Winter Moon and winter orb to follow the spirit of the stax control the original deck had. With a decent start It won't be too hard to win by turn 6-8 and crush your opponents with massive artifact creatures!\n\nHere's the decklist:"},{"attributes":{"link":"https://archidekt.com/decks/8313877"},"insert":"https://archidekt.com/decks/8313877"},{"insert":"\n"}]}

{"ops":[{"insert":"https://archidekt.com/decks/8315221\n\nWho let these goblins into Strixhaven? Can they even read that textbook?\n\nAlthough Commander is my main format, I also love me some 60-card Pauper! And one of my favourite Pauper decks is Goblin Class Combo, affectionately known as Moggwarts. In Pauper, it's a Rakdos combo deck that aims to go infinite by casting First Day of Class, and then repeatedly sacrificing Putrid Goblin to Skirk Prospector - the +1/+1 counter from First Day of Class cancels out the -1/-1 from Persist.\n\nFor this commander deck, I've cranked up the power level with some expensive uncommons, rares, and mythics. I've also added green to get access to a wider range of Persist creatures, +1/+1 counter effects that work, and of course, ramp/removal. Bhaal, Lord of Murder is the commander and is absolutely perfect for the deck, as he can do the combo if you have two Persist creatures and a sac outlet. To stay faithful to the original deck, I've kept a lot of the artifact-based card draw such as Chromatic Star and Ichor Wellspring, which work well as artifacts to sac to things like Deadly Dispute. The result is some good old classic Jund aristocrats/sacrifice shenanigans, with a commander that's less common (especially when Korvold exists) but fits the deck perfectly!\n"}]}
