That feeling was the inspiration behind this Nekusar list, which contains many of the traditional cards from Hollow One lists, including Hollow One, Flameblade Adept, Ox of Agonas, the Judgment Elementals, and Burning Inquiry itself. At the time, I had been playing the latest version of my Nassari, Dean of Expression deck. My friend Luis, who got me into Commander, helped me build her the first time. The deck focused on exiling spells from my opponents and getting a lot of mana rocks into play to cast those spells. I think anyone who has played Nassari, or any commander who takes spells from other people, understands the incredible salt that occurs when this happens. So, the second time I built this deck, I included cards that allowed everyone to play more spells, like Expedited Inheritance or Share the Spoils. The latter is my favorite because if you say it like a game show (Share! The! Spoils!), it's a fun way to get people excited about using spells or lands they otherwise wouldn't. I found this to be an effective counter to the salt Nassari induces for my pod.\n\nHere's the problem: Nassari Salt is a two-way street. You will hit lands with Nassari's ability. She does not let you play lands. It is a major bummer to get three lands. What's worse is that Nassari actively benefits from having more players at the table, so spreading the love is key, but this can be difficult to balance when you are stealing everyone's spells. You must pace yourself so you don't become the archenemy, Or so I thought! \n\nAfter watching the Lantern Control video, Luis mentioned that I should include more top-deck manipulation. This is how I came to build this deck: combining the controlling aspects of Lantern Control with the pseudo-group hug that the deck provides—combining the best parts of both to counter each other's weaknesses. It's not perfect; I don't expect it to win any tournaments, but I think it's unique and scales to the table remarkably. \n\nThanks for all that y'all do,\n\nMefausto (My real name is June)\nThey/Them\n"}]}

Normally, the Dread Return target is Syr Konrad, but we've already got a shuffle titan in the deck, so we're going to take things a step further and Dread Return The Gitrog Monster. Once we reanimate Gitrog, we can draw whenever we mill a land. We're going to keep milling until we draw Putrid Imp and Dakmor Salvage. We can use the land drop that got our Bloodghast to cast Putrid Imp, and then we start Gitrog Combo to win the game.\n\nThe Commander Classic: Gitrog Combo!\nI'm not going to explain the full combo (I recommend reading the cEDH primer), but once we draw the deck and make infinite mana, we can return all of our cards in exile back into our hand with a Riftsweeper loop. The card that kills our opponents is Festering Gulch. We're literally just going to cast Crop Rotation a few hundred times.\n\nSome Extra Spice: Hogaak + Zombie Infestation + Greater Good\nSac Hogaak to Greater Good to draw 8 and discard 3. Discard 4 to Zombie Infestation. Convoke the zombies and delve five discarded cards to recast Hogaak. We can now cycle through the deck until we hit mana and a different combo.\n\nWe have two backup plans. I kind of lied when I said we're only playing four horsemen as a commander deck. Although it's to a lesser extent, we're also doing Hogaak Summer and legacy land strategies. \n\nOur better backup plan are the land strats. We run Dark Depths, Thespian's Stage, Field of the Dead, and Glacial Chasm. We're a dredge deck, so the idea is to dredge lands and drop Azusa and Crucible of Worlds. We can always turn Marit Lage and the zombie tokens sideways, or we can just use Marit to draw 20 cards and convoke the zombies to Hogaak. Alternatively, we can use Hermit Druid to mill our entire library and activate Aftermath Analyist while the shuffle titan trigger is on the stack.\n\nOur plan C is quite simple. Our commander is a 0 mana 8/8 that tramples. We're gonna mill some cards, cheat some creatures into play, and turn them sideways.\n\nNow, some of you might have asked: \"But Bowmen, you just put a shuffle titan in a dredge deck. What if we dredge the titan when we don't want to and ruin our whole gameplan?\" And to that I say:\n"}]}
