When I watched this movie, I LOVED it immediately.\n\nThis deck was inspired by Ratatouille and his love for food, so it is a rat and food token lifegain-esque. It is legal in commander with some fun tricks\nI found the best commander for this was Old Flitterfang, because he creates food tokens at the end of your end step if a creature died. It was hard to find cards that created rat tokens but I found some, and also put in mana-cheap rat creatures. {"ops":[{"attributes":{"link":"https://www.archidekt.com/decks/7987753/nadu"},"insert":"https://www.archidekt.com/decks/7987753/nadu"},{"insert":"\n\nWe have Nadu the bird wizard. Now, as I was brewing this I thought about Harry Potter. My childhood was spent reading/watching/obsessing over everything Harry Potter, so I figured Nadu would make a good tribute for him as a fellow wizard. Plus we know that Harry loves his birds (Hedwig). While Nadu might not be a pretty white owl, he is a magical beauty. \n\nLet's go into some of the things that this deck does. First off it likes to draw a lot of cards. Which i hope to turn into various win cons or combos. My favorite being that I can combo off by using Displacer Kitten for plenty of mana to keep casting spells from my not quite wand. I can't help to think that this is a cute creature that Hagrid would keep with him. Afterall, he did have a baby dragon. \nSecondly with all of that card draw it will want to capitalize on token machines like Scute Swarm. While Scute Swarm isn't exactly a spider I still don't think that Ron would approve if you recall his encounter with the spiders. Knowing this, Harry could absolutely take advantage of Ron's probable fear and guarantee a win. Harry is playing 4D Wizard Chess while Ron is playing Timmy Magic. \nOf course I did not forget about the tutors. Perfect for any magic deck that wants to get its heavy hitters out there fast. They are also perfect for the school environment that Harry attends. Tutors are synonymous with school, and believe me, after seeing Harry in Snape's classroom he needs all the tutors he can get.\n Possibly one of the most important cards in the deck, lightning greaves. Along with the other \"equip 0\" cards in the deck Harry can keep those Nadu triggers coming. This is closely related to possibly one of his most prized possessions, the invisibility cloak. Lightning greaves give the creature haste, but more importantly shroud. While an equipment that gave creatures phase out would work much better thematically, I think that these lightning greaves give Harry the protection from outside eyes that he needs. They will allow your creatures to get up to some sneaky business while being safe from most spells.\nWhile you are always subject to a board wipe, this deck has that in store too. What better way to end things off than Harry's favorite spell, Expelliarmus . The disarming spell. This deck doesn't skimp out on counter spells. With multiple ways to play things back from your graveyard, you can always be sure to never run out of counter spells to disarm your opponents before taking the win for yourself.\n\nIf you read this far I hope you enjoyed the silly references I put in while attempting to explain what this deck does. Also, make sure to comment what Harry Potter house you would be in. I am a proud Ravenclaw!\n"}]}

I remember Gmork as both terrifying and enthralling in this movie when I was a kid. I thought Lurrus was a great look-alike for Gmork and his ability for recursion is decent support for a deck themed around destroying everything. The deck seeks to make recurring and indestructible creatures while wiping opponents board to a state of nothing. There are a few includes for flavour like the Empress, indestructible Humans so you can have an Atreyu with plot armor, Quietus Spike as the knife that Atreyu used on Gmork and a few white dragons to be Falkor.\n"}]}
