I have tried consolidating cards that accomplish multiple of the requirements but the deck still feels really clunky and sluggish.\n\n(my point about mediocre-ness is populating once a turn on a mediocre creature isn't really pushing my board state at all in a cool / meaningful way).\n\nI'd love any advice. The sideboard is also all cards that have been in the deck but are currently not in it. Thanks to anyone who takes the time!\n"}]}

{"ops":[{"insert":"Overall, your deck right now is kinda slow until you get the full \"combo\" and you suddenly get a ton of value. smooth out your deck to make it more consistent, and you should do great! I added some specific tips below.\n\n1) I would put in some more mana rocks. (signets, talismans). You have 27 cards 4 mana or higher, which the mana rocks can ramp into. I normally have around 7-10 mana rocks, and right now you have 3 I believe.\n\n2) You need some more removal. I saw 2-3 single target removal spells, which just isn't enough. If the opponent plays a solemnity for example (I don't know why they would they're just weird I guess) you probably can't remove it, and now your gameplan is shut down.\n\n3) Put in some more card draw that DOESN'T need you to have anything else. ponder, preordain, phyrexian arena, etc. In my playtests, I ended up running low on cards or having disjointed pieces that don't work together. Cards like parallel lives and elemental bond can work well with the deck, but only if you can consistently get the upside from them.\n\n4) simplify the game plan. The game plan is to have (a) a counter and (b) a creature token. Try removing cards that do not achieve this goal. You should activate your game plan the majority of games. Right now, in my play tests, it seems like the problem isn't how the deck works when its working, but how it doesn't do it consistently. Put in some more creatures (maybe? my playtests seemed to be low on good creatures) and probably some creatures that enter with counters.\n"}]}
