{"ops":[{"insert":"My thought process when building this deck was how salty can I make the deck and how often would it lead to every player at the table leaving after like 5 turns. SO with that being said I took all of the land destruction, stax and generally salty cards and slapped them in a Jeskai deck that promotes cheating things out and making it to where no one can play the game we all know and love. (Note: this is mostly functional and also no where near my playstyle other than my Zur Stax list so don't hate me lol)\n\nhttps://archidekt.com/decks/5706289/october_deckbuilding_contest\n"}]}

Niv will often draw around 5 cards. Among these cards are untappers that untap Jegantha and let the deck turbo out a large voltron machine that turn. Using a cycle of auras from Shadowmoor and Eventide, Niv becomes a large threat chunking players for tons of damage. The deck puts players in a tough spot because if Niv gets removed, you simplify cast it again drawing even more cards refilling your hand, and if you don't he is a large lethal threat. The deck also has lots of interaction it draws off of Niv to deal with any potential problems or to protect itself. Even if Jegantha dies, there are a handful of ways to reanimate him to keep the train rolling or to find Bloom Tender or Faeburrow Elder. Even when the game starts to get a little longer, the deck has a sub theme of multicolored matters to completely outvalue the table which positions the deck to be a large threat even as the game continues on.\n"}]}

This list is what I would actually run if we didn't have our \"budget\" house rule. Deck is filled with Ramp so you can easily be able to use Najeela's activated ability and get more combats with her and her goon squad of warriors, plus her triggered ability creates more warriors with each attack!
