{"ops":[{"insert":"I hope this deck classifies well enough, but here goes nothing. \n\nI got bored one day and read about the history of Nicol Bolas, since I'm relatively new to the multiverse and missed every set before New Capenna. And through his story, there was mentions of artifacts, spells, and structures, a lot of which are directly represented by cards, and thus, the idea for this deck came around. Throughout many sets, Nicol Bolas has been directly represented, depicted, or otherwise mentioned in the flavor text of cards. So this deck combines as many of those cards I felt would reasonably fit a relatively powerful deck. \n\nAt it's core, the deck relies on the power of Nicol Bolas himself, with the 4 planeswalkers, 1 creature, and the commander all having the potential ability to shut down a single, or even every, opponent, either slowly with discards and sacrifices, or completely with just making opponents lose the game or exiling their library.\n\nOutside of Nicol Bolas himself, the deck contains powerful sorceries such as Cruel Ultimatum, Torment of Hailfire, and Apex of Power to potentially draw into an answer or clear an opponent's hand or board. To further the path to victory, other spells and enchantments that depict Bolas provide a large amount of power in hopes of reaching the same godhood stake Bolas once achieved before being stripped of his names, a fate the user would hope to prevent for themselves. \n\nAdditionally, The Elderspell, while not depicting Bolas, was "},{"attributes":{"italic":true},"insert":"used by"},{"insert":" Bolas to reach near-godhood, so it deserves a spot in the deck.\n\nUnfortunately, with the nature of not being WUBRG, some cards needed to be omitted to fit the color identity, and most were replaced with low curve cards to give the deck a better early game, as well as assist the powerful sorceries and protect the planeswalkers. If only more lands showed the God-Pharaoh, to truly complete the theme of the deck\n\n"},{"attributes":{"link":"https://archidekt.com/decks/4442695/nicol_bolas"},"insert":"Nicol Bolas"},{"insert":"\n"}]}

This deck is based of Frank Herbert's Dune book series with a focus on the Bene Gesserit. The artwork was chosen to represent women (as well as the single male Kwisatz Haderach) of mystical power along with imageries of the vast desert of Arrakis, the wet lands of Caladan or other worlds of the Galactic Empire. When possible, imagery of mid century sci-fi art was included for artifacts, sorceries, instants, and enchantments. {"ops":[{"insert":"Presenting: "},{"attributes":{"link":"https://www.archidekt.com/decks/4516507"},"insert":"Pride!"},{"attributes":{"header":1},"insert":"\n"},{"insert":"\nThis deck is built around the theme of Pride. I took this in two ways, one being rainbows. The other one being love of all varieties. Do we see a sacrifice from Jace to try and save Vraska? Put that in there. Will and Rowan working together, displaying sibling love? Put it in there. Does it have like 5-6 dudes taking a bath? I mean, I guess that goes in there. To start off the deck the leading lady is Esika. One reason being she can create any color of mana, making her quite versatile. The second reason being RAINBOWS! She literally has rainbows shooting out from her hands. If you want an even bigger rainbow!\n\n*Warning, not all cards perfectly fit the theme, such as \"Nichol Bolas, The ravager\". It is from one of the newest secret lairs, from cute to brute.*\n\nThe deck also has the secret lair set \"extra lifes\" where cards were drawn by children, then professionals. This set uses the ones drawn by children because it help shows love in the real world. \n\nWhile the deck doesn't have as much going for it strategy wise, it does have just some overall good cards, such as Craterhoof behemoth, Nicol Bolas, and Teferi, Hero of Dominaria. While it doesn't have as much of a strategy, what it does excel in is art. Some highlights in the art department are:\n\n-Nashi, moon's legacy\n-Nicol bolas, the Ravager (Secret lair)\n-Bearscape \n-Phyrexian Arena\n-Teferi, Hero of Dominaria\n-Savor the moment\n\nThanks for reading this!\n\n(Here is the link just in case it doesn't work at the top of the post; https://www.archidekt.com/decks/4516507)\n"}]}
