{"ops":[{"attributes":{"link":"https://archidekt.com/decks/2268727#Hidesplosion_Contest_Entry"},"insert":"Hidesplosion"},{"insert":"\n\nSometimes, you just have to cheat to win. \n\nWhen I saw the new Hidetsugu from Neon Kamigawa, I knew that was the answer. This decklist tries it hardest to cheat on average mana costs, to ensure activations of Hidetsugu, Devouring Chaos and effects like Calibrated Blast would do the absolute maximum amount of damage. The list goes about getting an average mana cost of more than 5 in a few ways: playing cyclers, land cyclers, and mana rocks over a lot of lands; running cards that can be cast for less than their printed mana costs; and running split cards, which now have a cmc equal to both halves combined!\n\nDespite the crazy high mana costs, the deck still has a ton of options from turn 2 onward, and has multiple modes of play. In addition to stacking your deck with sensei's top to guarantee the biggest explosions, the deck can run as a Rakdos haymaker list by dropping mana rocks and playing huge, terrifying threats, backed up by sunbird's invocation and a pile of damage doublers. Not enough people for two pods? Heck, you even cheat on that: cast the biggest explosion of all - Undying Flames, copy it a few times (copies also have epic!), and leave your deck on literal autopilot while you fire up a second game. \n\nOne last thing - I'd like to thank the Archidekt admins for both running these contests, and for finally letting us submit decks through the site. I'm looking forward to seeing everyone's cool decks!\n"}]}
