Chaos13 3 years{"ops":[{"insert":"So ever since I began playing Magic I've always thought that the Djinn were one of the coolest creatures, I mean they are steeped in myth, magic and have an almost limitless possibility to what they could achieve, so I've always wished (no pun intended 😉) for a Djinn tribal deck, but here we are 20+ years later and the Djinn are still some of the worst cards in the game. You could point to the two or three interesting ones, but as a tribal deck it would never fly (again nonpun intended lol) there's no synergies there's no bonus to running more than one or two even in a shapeshifter deck it would be pointless, infact if you pact a deck with all the Djinn in the game you'd kill yourself while giving you opponents massive card draw and control of what ever they want. You'd think since Arabian knight's was the original expansion they'd see more love but no they are next to worthless. Well there's my rant if anyone has any thoughts , opinions or knowledge on why this is please feel free to comment all you like or heck even if you disagree with me id like to hear counter arguments as well.\n"}]}

Djinn are a very cool tribe in Magic, and in Arabian lore they are some of the most powerful beings to have existed, almost on the same level as gods. they do not see the love that they deserve, and a Djinn tribal commander would be cool. I think it would be cool to see a Djinn commander that helped you tutor for cards, but at the expense of life or another idea. If WOTC could go in a route similar to that, making it good but not busted, that would be great. \n"}]}

Chaos13 3 years{"ops":[{"insert":"Thats exactly the line I was thinking, kinda a creature version of "},{"insert":{"card-link":"Necropotence"}},{"insert":" , I think the concept of Djinn and the dangerous wish idea could fit very nicely in the mono black commander family, who knows they've been revisiting many old planes, maybe they'll revisit arabian knight's, however I find this to be unfortunately unlikely since the current development team seams hellbent on avoiding the parallel planes like \"kamigawa\"/\"Arabia\"/(and my personal favorite)\"the portal three kingdoms\".\n"}]}
