{"ops":[{"insert":"First: Love the site, I think y'all are doing a great job. Thanks for all your hard work!\n\nSecond: I know you're already working through a bunch of improvements and requests for the playtester, and all of my requests / suggestions may be duplicates. If that's the case, consider this an upvote for those features.\n\nWith that, here are my top requests for the playtester:\n\n"},{"attributes":{"bold":true},"insert":"Additional card location \"sections\""},{"insert":" -- Right now there are just the two, bottom row (land) and top row (everything else). It would be great, for example, if artifacts / enchantments entered on the second row. Or right/left, or whatever. Differentiation. The most amazing ideal version of this would be allowing some user customization of where/how cards enter the battlefield, but I appreciate that's a much bigger ask."},{"attributes":{"list":"bullet"},"insert":"\n"},{"insert":"\n"},{"attributes":{"bold":true},"insert":"Additional hotkey commands"},{"insert":" -- In order of priority: (1) Something that instructs a card already on the battlefield to jump to the next available open space. This could be 'B' again, or 'M' for move, or whatever. This is preferable to manually dragging cards around, because it's hard to maintain a grid when you do that. (2) Adding or removing counters, and increasing or decreasing power/toughness (basically, anything that currently requires multiple clicks and/or manually entering values). (3) 'Tap/untap' for individual cards. (4) 'Next turn'. - "},{"attributes":{"italic":true},"insert":"[a related request: make 'new game' an actual menu button, not a hotkey. It's way too easy to hit N instead of B, and accidentally start over. Not a huge deal, but an unnecessary bit of poor UX design. Also, I expect a majority of your users are coming from other platforms, and several of those platforms use N as 'next turn'.]"},{"attributes":{"list":"bullet"},"insert":"\n"},{"insert":"\n"},{"attributes":{"bold":true},"insert":"Custom Token as a permanent option"},{"insert":" -- As users, we know that building in every single token / emblem / etc. in the game is an absolutely mammoth task. We also know (and appreciate!) that you're in the process of trying to do just that. In the meantime, a simple (?) solution would be making a customizable blank token (*/*) available for every deck. - "},{"attributes":{"italic":true},"insert":"[a related request: a permanent 'copy' token, available in all decks; right now there is no way to distinguish between token copies and counters]"},{"attributes":{"list":"bullet"},"insert":"\n"}]}

{"ops":[{"insert":"Hi there! These are some really good suggestions. A lot of the card location stuff (and by association, hotkeys to move between them) is going to be dependent on the framework used whenever we overhaul the playtester. I do like the concept though, since it should in theory keep things a bit neater and require a little less micromanaging of space when messing around. Your suggestion for a custom token has potential too as a catch-all for edge cases where the correct token isn't automatically found. \n\nAs you seem to be aware, the playtester is very much a work-in-progress that we're hoping to be able to give more attention when developer time isn't as needed elsewhere. Regardless, we appreciate the suggestion-- we'll see what can be done with them! \n"}]}
