This ensures each color plays differently, and allows players to express themselves through the cards they choose to include in their decks. Each of these identities can also be interpreted in different ways, which opens up many different styles of play even among the same colors.\n\nWith thirty years of cards to choose from, however, there's no reason to limit your deckbuilding to what the color pie says. Every year we get new cards that push and pull the colors in different directions. Can you build a WR landfall deck, or a RG control deck? What about a UR lifegain deck? You're not supposed to, but that shouldn't stop us from trying.\n\nThis is also a great exercise for a color you're very familiar with. Thinking outside the box is a great way to break old patterns and reignite a passion you might've lost. Similarly, this could be the perfect time to revisit a color pair you don't like. Classic Rakdos.\n\nHow do we possibly survive all of this damage we are doing to ourselves? Thats where my favorite Rakdos Commander, Omo, Queen of Vesuva comes in. We have quite a bit of lifegain. Cards everyone knows and love like Lifetap, Thoughtleech, Wellwisher, Glimmerpost, Fruition, and to boost it all Honor Troll and Alhammarret's Archive. Omo helps us fix our lands, our creatures and even our opponents lands in order to try and squeeze as much juice as we can to pump up our life total to make sure we don't die before our opponents. Think of it like paying life and mana to kill everyone else.\n\nOur burn spells are X cost spells so how do we pay for that? By mana fixing all of our and our opponents' terrible boring lands into Loci for Cloudpost to add a trillion mana by its self to pay off most of the damage by itself.\n\nIt wouldn't be a Rakdos deck without some self-sacrificing for value and then reanimating whatever we sacrifice to squeeze even more lifegain and burn out of the deck as Rakdos only has a couple of big burn spells unfortunately. We want to copy our burn and copy our lifegain to make sure we have enough gas in the tank to bring it over the finish line. We also have a couple of lifegain payoffs and ways to take advantage of the counters our Rakdos Commander puts on creatures and lands (make them technically \"modified\").\n\nPlease look through the list and try to parse it for yourself because this is a strange Rakdos list that does a little bit of everything to make sure we get to a point where we can burn out opponents out and they can't cast anything without us gaining a billion life for us to spend to blow us all up.\n"}]}
