{"ops":[{"insert":"Any time I have a \"bright idea\" and go to add a card to one of my decks, usually because I've forgotten that I've already done what I want to do, I'll go into search and add it to my deck because it doesn't show as being in the deck. Red outline. What? I go and look and sure enough I have a different printing in the deck already. This just happened with Merchant Scroll, where I had the Judge Promo in the list and the first card to show up was one of the white border printings.\n"}]}

{"ops":[{"insert":"The reason we don't have some sort of way of signifying that a different version of a card is already in a deck is because it would add a bit more overhead to our searches. Essentially, every time you run a search, it would be an additional query parameter for it to check before giving you your results, slowing things down a bit. We have to be a little picky about what sort of features like this we implement because they can really add up to a slower, less enjoyable experience. In this particular case, we're operating under the assumption that users generally know what cards they have in the deck they're working on and on the occasion they forget (as I certainly have!) the red border once added is a quick notification that something's wrong. Regardless, I appreciate the feedback and we'll keep this in mind as we continue to try to optimize our searches. It's definitely something that could see implementation in some form at some point if we were able to do so without taxing our system unduly. \n"}]}
