You lose 2 life. • Hire a Mercenary — Create a 3/2 colorless Shapeshifter creature token with changeling. You lose 3 life. (It has every creature type.)

At the beginning of your end step, you may sacrifice an artifact, creature, enchantment, land, or planeswalker. If you do, each opponent may sacrifice a permanent that shares a card type with it. For each opponent who doesn't, that player loses 2 life and you draw a card.

Flying Whenever a player attacks one of your opponents, if that opponent has more life than another of your opponents, that attacking player draws a card and you put two +1/+1 counters on a creature you control.

Vigilance, reach, trample Whenever Elder Gargaroth attacks or blocks, choose one — • Create a 3/3 green Beast creature token. • You gain 3 life. • Draw a card.

Whenever an opponent casts their first noncreature spell each turn, draw a card unless that player pays {X}, where X is Esper Sentinel's power.

At the beginning of your draw step, you may draw two additional cards. If you do, choose two cards in your hand drawn this turn. For each of those cards, pay 4 life or put the card on top of your library.

{T}: Add {W}. Channel — {2}{W}, Discard Eiganjo, Seat of the Empire: It deals 4 damage to target attacking or blocking creature. This ability costs {1} less to activate for each legendary creature you control.

{T}, Sacrifice Fabled Passage: Search your library for a basic land card, put it onto the battlefield tapped, then shuffle. Then if you control four or more lands, untap that land.

Field of the Dead enters the battlefield tapped. {T}: Add {C}. Whenever Field of the Dead or another land enters the battlefield under your control, if you control seven or more lands with different names, create a 2/2 black Zombie creature token.

{T}: Add {W}. When Flagstones of Trokair is put into a graveyard from the battlefield, you may search your library for a Plains card, put it onto the battlefield tapped, then shuffle.

As long as Grist, the Hunger Tide isn't on the battlefield, it's a 1/1 Insect creature in addition to its other types. +1: Create a 1/1 black and green Insect creature token, then mill a card. If an Insect card was milled this way, put a loyalty counter on Grist and repeat this process. −2: You may sacrifice a creature. Shadow (This creature can block or be blocked by only creatures with shadow.) If a card would be put into an opponent's graveyard from anywhere, instead exile it with a void counter on it. {T}, Sacrifice Dauthi Voidwalker: Choose an exiled card an opponent owns with a void counter on it. You may play it this turn without paying its mana cost.

+1: Create a 1/1 white Soldier creature token with lifelink. −2: Put two +1/+1 counters on target creature. It becomes an Angel in addition to its other types and gains flying. −6: Return all nonland permanent cards with mana value 3 or less from your graveyard to the battlefield.

At the beginning of your upkeep, you lose 1 life and create a 1/1 black Faerie Rogue creature token with flying.

Vigilance Whenever an artifact or creature enters the battlefield untapped and under an opponent's control, they may tap that permanent. If they don't, you create a 1/1 white Vampire creature token with lifelink.

Lifelink If a nontoken creature an opponent controls would die, instead exile that card and create a 2/2 black Zombie creature token. {2}{B}, Sacrifice another Vampire or Zombie: Put two +1/+1 counters on Kalitas, Traitor of Ghet.

Fiend Artisan gets +1/+1 for each creature card in your graveyard. {X}{B/G}, {T}, Sacrifice another creature: Search your library for a creature card with mana value X or less, put it onto the battlefield, then shuffle. Activate only as a sorcery.

Search your library and/or graveyard for a creature card with mana value X or less and put it onto the battlefield. If you search your library this way, shuffle. If X is 10 or more, creatures you control get +X/+X and gain haste until end of turn.

Creatures you control have vigilance. Each creature you control can block an additional creature each combat.
