That list consists of using one of my favorite cards, doing something very budget, and practically just a terrible idea that's playable. \n-Favorite card: Yorion (I just like blinking everything and I once built a historic deck with it as companion and winning with \"Thorical\", no combo, just draw and one Thorical in the entirety of the deck.)\n-Budget: Every card had to be less than a dollar. (Note: Some cards go up in price sometimes and also down so at one point I bought them for less than a dollar each.)\n-Idea: Only enter the battlefield effects and blink cards.\n\nUnfortunately after playing a few games of the original design, I needed to properly give it a win condition because it didn't actually have one. All it had was pure value, so I end up playing solitaire and nothing comes out of it. This resulted in one win by pure concession. \n\nThe next iteration is similar and is still a majority of the cards above, except this time I included an infinite combo because that was realistically the only way I could put in a win condition while still adhering to the restrictions of the deck I had. This also meant I could do some real heinous things with a few enter the battlefield effects like the spine of ish shah resulting in the destruction of the entire enemy board including lands. That has not happened just yet, but I hope they feel disgusted by it happening. \n\nThen I found myself in the pickle of losing the infinite combo pieces to removal and unable to return them to the battlefield and sure I had an angel of serenity to return things, but I then saw a post on reddit and saw the card [dreams of the dead] as a tech card for someone else's yorion deck. The reasoning behind the card was that sending something to exile to return to the battlefield meant that the bad portion of what dreams of the dead gives to a card gets negated and you get it all back for just two mana. And after seeing that it was in the budget, I decided to slightly broaden the idea of the deck. All it has to do is make enter the battlefield triggers happen, which means reanimation was now within my restrictions and I added in the storm of souls as well because blinking them would return their power and toughness if that even mattered.\n\nOn another note, with each new set of cards coming out, I watch for any cool enter the battlefield effects that could be very cool or just better versions of some cards I already have. It still kind of just sits and plays solitaire until hitting an infinite out of nowhere and possibly win the game and for the most part has if it hits. Which I am sure is reassuring to my friends that the deck can win after doing so much solitaire.\n"}]}
