The True Scriptures

(As this Saga enters and after your draw step, add a lore counter.)
I — For each opponent, destroy up to one target creature or planeswalker that player controls.
II — Each opponent discards three cards, then mills three cards.
III — Put all creature cards from all graveyards onto the battlefield under your control. Exile The True Scriptures, then return it to the battlefield (front face up).

Sheoldred

Menace
When Sheoldred enters, each opponent sacrifices a nontoken creature or planeswalker of their choice.
{4}{B}: Exile Sheoldred, then return it to the battlefield transformed under its owner's control. Activate only as a sorcery and only if an opponent has eight or more cards in their graveyard.

At the beginning of your end step, you may sacrifice an artifact, creature, enchantment, land, or planeswalker. If you do, each opponent may sacrifice a permanent of their choice that shares a card type with it. For each opponent who doesn't, that player loses 2 life and you draw a card.

Ayara, First of Locthwain

Whenever Ayara, First of Locthwain or another black creature you control enters, each opponent loses 1 life and you gain 1 life.
{T}, Sacrifice another black creature: Draw a card.

Demonic Tutor

Search your library for a card, put that card into your hand, then shuffle.

Bolas's Citadel

You may look at the top card of your library any time.
You may play lands and cast spells from the top of your library. If you cast a spell this way, pay life equal to its mana value rather than pay its mana cost.
{T}, Sacrifice ten nonland permanents: Each opponent loses 10 life.

Mutilate

All creatures get -1/-1 until end of turn for each Swamp you control.

Ogre Slumlord

Whenever another nontoken creature dies, you may create a 1/1 black Rat creature token.
Rats you control have deathtouch.

Blight Mound

Attacking Pests you control get +1/+0 and have menace.
Whenever a nontoken creature you control dies, create a 1/1 black and green Pest creature token with "When this creature dies, you gain 1 life."

Swamp

Damnation

Destroy all creatures. They can't be regenerated.

Village Rites

As an additional cost to cast this spell, sacrifice a creature.
Draw two cards.

Pitiless Plunderer

Whenever another creature you control dies, create a Treasure token. (It's an artifact with "{T}, Sacrifice this artifact: Add one mana of any color.")

Orcish Bowmasters

Flash
When Orcish Bowmasters enters and whenever an opponent draws a card except the first one they draw in each of their draw steps, Orcish Bowmasters deals 1 damage to any target. Then amass Orcs 1.

Drivnod, Carnage Dominus

If a creature dying causes a triggered ability of a permanent you control to trigger, that ability triggers an additional time.
{B/P}{B/P}, Exile three creature cards from your graveyard: Put an indestructible counter on Drivnod, Carnage Dominus. ({B/P} can be paid with either {B} or 2 life.)

Awakening Hall

When you unlock this door, return all creature cards from your graveyard to the battlefield.
(You may cast either half. That door unlocks on the battlefield. As a sorcery, you may pay the mana cost of a locked door to unlock it.)

At the beginning of each opponent's upkeep, that player sacrifices a creature of their choice.

Season of Loss

Choose up to five {P} worth of modes. You may choose the same mode more than once.
{P} — Each player sacrifices a creature of their choice.
{P}{P} — Draw a card for each creature that died under your control this turn.

• Each opponent discards two cards and loses 2 life.
• Put target non-Dragon creature card from a graveyard onto the battlefield under your control. You lose 2 life.

Withering Torment

Destroy target creature or enchantment. You lose 2 life.

Woe Strider

When Woe Strider enters, create a 0/1 white Goat creature token.
Sacrifice another creature: Scry 1.
Escape—{3}{B}{B}, Exile four other cards from your graveyard. (You may cast this card from your graveyard for its escape cost.)
Woe Strider escapes with two +1/+1 counters on it.

Whenever a creature you control dies, draw a card.
+1: Create a 2/2 black Zombie creature token.
−4: Each player sacrifices two creatures of their choice.
−9: Each opponent chooses a permanent they control of each permanent type and sacrifices the rest.

Whenever a creature you control dies, each opponent loses 1 life and you gain 1 life.

When Kokusho, the Evening Star dies, each opponent loses 5 life. You gain life equal to the life lost this way.

Lolth, Spider Queen

Whenever a creature you control dies, put a loyalty counter on Lolth, Spider Queen.
0: You draw a card and you lose 1 life.
−3: Create two 2/1 black Spider creature tokens with menace and reach.
−8: You get an emblem with "Whenever an opponent is dealt combat damage by one or more creatures you control, if that player lost less than 8 life this turn, they lose life equal to the difference."

The Meathook Massacre

When The Meathook Massacre enters, each creature gets -X/-X until end of turn.
Whenever a creature you control dies, each opponent loses 1 life.

Gray Merchant of Asphodel

When Gray Merchant of Asphodel enters, each opponent loses X life, where X is your devotion to black. You gain life equal to the life lost this way. (Each {B} in the mana costs of permanents you control counts toward your devotion to black.)

Crowded Crypt

{T}: Add {B}.
Whenever a creature you control dies, put a corpse counter on Crowded Crypt.
{4}{B}{B}, {T}, Sacrifice Crowded Crypt: Create a 2/2 black Zombie creature token with decayed for each corpse counter on Crowded Crypt. (A creature with decayed can't block. When it attacks, sacrifice it at end of combat.)

Bloodletter of Aclazotz

If an opponent would lose life during your turn, they lose twice that much life instead. (Damage causes loss of life.)

Jet Medallion

Black spells you cast cost {1} less to cast.

Saw in Half

Destroy target creature. If that creature dies this way, its controller creates two tokens that are copies of that creature, except their power is half that creature's power and their toughness is half that creature's toughness. Round up each time.

Black Market

Whenever a creature dies, put a charge counter on Black Market.
At the beginning of your first main phase, add {B} for each charge counter on Black Market.

Massacre Wurm

When Massacre Wurm enters, creatures your opponents control get -2/-2 until end of turn.
Whenever a creature an opponent controls dies, that player loses 2 life.

Plaguecrafter

When Plaguecrafter enters, each player sacrifices a creature or planeswalker of their choice. Each player who can't discards a card.
