Commander
If you would put one or more counters on a creature or planeswalker you control or on yourself, put that many plus one of each of those kinds of counters on that permanent or player instead. Choose a Background (You can have a Background as a second commander.)
Commander creatures you own have "When this creature enters the battlefield and at the beginning of your upkeep, each player may put two +1/+1 counters on a creature they control. For each opponent who does, you gain protection from that player until your next turn." (You can't be targeted, dealt damage, or enchanted by anything controlled by that player.)
Artifact
At the beginning of combat on your turn, put a charge counter on Gavel of the Righteous. Equipped creature gets +1/+1 for each counter on Gavel of the Righteous. As long as Gavel of the Righteous has four or more counters on it, equipped creature has double strike. Equip—Pay {3} or remove a counter from Gavel of the Righteous.
Investigator's Journal enters the battlefield with a number of suspect counters on it equal to the greatest number of creatures a player controls. {2}, {T}, Remove a suspect counter from Investigator's Journal: Draw a card. {2}, Sacrifice Investigator's Journal: Draw a card.
Creature
Flying Whenever Aerial Extortionist enters the battlefield or deals combat damage to a player, exile up to one target nonland permanent. For as long as that card remains exiled, its owner may cast it. Whenever another player casts a spell from anywhere other than their hand, draw a card.
Vigilance, protection from multicolored When Basri's Lieutenant enters the battlefield, put a +1/+1 counter on target creature you control. Whenever Basri's Lieutenant or another creature you control dies, if it had a +1/+1 counter on it, create a 2/2 white Knight creature token with vigilance.
Boss's Chauffeur enters the battlefield with a number of +1/+1 counters on it equal to one plus the number of other creatures you control. Alliance — Whenever another creature enters the battlefield under your control, put a +1/+1 counter on Boss's Chauffeur. When Boss's Chauffeur dies, create a 1/1 green and white Citizen creature token for each +1/+1 counter on it.
When Elite Scaleguard enters the battlefield, bolster 2. (Choose a creature with the least toughness among creatures you control and put two +1/+1 counters on it.) Whenever a creature you control with a +1/+1 counter on it attacks, tap target creature defending player controls.
Whenever one or more cards are put into exile from your hand or a spell or ability you control exiles one or more permanents from the battlefield, put that many +1/+1 counters on Hero of Bretagard. As long as Hero of Bretagard has five or more counters on it, it has flying and is an Angel in addition to its other types. As long as Hero of Bretagard has ten or more counters on it, it has indestructible and is a God in addition to its other types.
Flying Sanctuary Warden enters the battlefield with two shield counters on it. Whenever Sanctuary Warden enters the battlefield or attacks, you may remove a counter from a creature or planeswalker you control. If you do, draw a card and create a 1/1 green and white Citizen creature token.
When Seasoned Dungeoneer enters the battlefield, you take the initiative. Whenever you attack, target attacking Cleric, Rogue, Warrior, or Wizard gains protection from creatures until end of turn. It explores. (Reveal the top card of your library. Put that card into your hand if it's a land. Otherwise, put a +1/+1 counter on the creature, then put the card back or put it into your graveyard.)
Enchantment
As Sigarda's Splendor enters the battlefield, note your life total. At the beginning of your upkeep, draw a card if your life total is greater than or equal to the last noted life total for Sigarda's Splendor. Then note your life total. Whenever you cast a white spell, you gain 1 life.
Instant
Addendum — If you cast this spell during your main phase, put a shield counter on a creature you control. (If it would be dealt damage or destroyed, remove a shield counter from it instead.) Choose a kind of counter on a creature you control. Put a counter of that kind on each other creature you control.
Land
Planeswalker
+1: Put a +1/+1 counter on up to one target creature. It gains indestructible until end of turn. −2: Whenever one or more nontoken creatures attack this turn, create that many 1/1 white Soldier creature tokens that are tapped and attacking. −6: You get an emblem with "At the beginning of combat on your turn, create a 1/1 white Soldier creature token, then put a +1/+1 counter on each creature you control."
+1: Choose up to one target creature. Put a +1/+1 counter and a counter from among flying, first strike, lifelink, or vigilance on it. −3: Look at the top seven cards of your library. You may put a permanent card with mana value 3 or less from among them onto the battlefield with a shield counter on it. Put the rest on the bottom of your library in a random order. −7: Create five 3/3 white Angel creature tokens with flying.
Whenever you attack with two or more non-Gideon creatures, put a +1/+1 counter on each of those creatures. +2: Until end of turn, Gideon, the Oathsworn becomes a 5/5 white Soldier creature that's still a planeswalker. Prevent all damage that would be dealt to him this turn. (He can't attack if he was cast this turn.) −9: Exile Gideon, the Oathsworn and each creature your opponents control.
Sorcery
Escalate—Tap an untapped creature you control. (Pay this cost for each mode chosen beyond the first.) Choose one or more — • Destroy target creature with power 4 or greater. • Destroy target enchantment. • Put a +1/+1 counter on each creature target player controls.
Exile target creature you don't control. For each creature exiled this way, its controller searches their library for a basic land card. Those players put those cards onto the battlefield tapped, then shuffle. Overload {4}{W}{W} (You may cast this spell for its overload cost. If you do, change "target" in its text to "each.")
