That way you can begin to politic each opponent's biggest attacker into hitting someone other than you (rather than get tapped), as well as distract from the bigger but more subtle threat to come: Rhoda.\n•For defense, try using phasing outside your turn (so you're no longer a target) but counterspells/hexproof/indestructible on your turn (so you can still attack that turn).\n•Don't forget that phasing can be used on opponents' permanents!
